Question What do you think, is it a good time to invest in Balkan Gambling Market?

As most of European countries introduce new regulations in Gamblig sector, is it a good time to explore Balkan market (Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Montenegro. Bosnia and Herzegovina...)

Not sure that is a good idea, although may be worth a shot due to low competition. The competition is virtually non-existent, but the problem is that people in the Balkans are used to visiting land-based joints, and I believe less than 1% of them play online.

Most local bookies offer the option to make a cash deposit in the land-based betting shop and then play online, but not sure whether any have affiliate programs as such. People here love to gamble, but mostly bet on sports, don't think many would be interested in playing online casino games.

The betting sector is dominated by shady local companies with close ties to the governments, just like most other sectors in the Balkans.

Happy to provide more info if needed.

I personally spoke to an affiliate who invested big into the Romanian and some other markets and after 2 years or so pulled off.

    I second that!
The whole sector is run by shady companies which are so close related to the governments (especially Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro...). Plus, a lot of people are not ready to play online yet. They'll rather go to the sportsbook and get the ticket for a small amount of money and hope to win a fortune...
