What is forex trading

What is Forex?

Forex = Foreign exchange (also used for gold, silver, oil and indices industry)

Leveraged Trading = deposit $100, trade up to X400 so you can trade up to $40,000

Example trading

Oil price is $60.00, you buy with $60 (X50) 50 barrels of oil, if oil goes higher to $61 you made $50 if it went down to 59 you lost $50.

Where is the money?

Forex companies generate revenue from the SPREAD between the buy and sell prices of the asset:

For example:

USD/JPY buy price is 99.83 and sell price is 99.80

The difference between the buy/sell price is 3 pips (range from 1-10)

If you buy with $100 (X400) 40,000 USD/JPY

You buy at the higher price of 99.83

Your spread is 12$ (12% of the transaction)

You sell at a price of 99.93 you profit 40$

Revenue share is calculated from the spread (12$)

Where is the money for Affiliates?

Like other industries, affiliates commission structure is with CPA per new trader or revenue share from each one, in eToro you can get 25% Revenue Share (High customer value).

Earn 25% of the revenue share eToro generates from your referred users.

$200 CPA

BAN PLEASE!

I have looked into this many times....
But I have a hard time in dumping my money into this stuff....
Does anyone here actually make any type of decent income from forex trading?

Forex trading is def. a market which will continue to grow as you can tell from FX Pro sponsoring a premier league team in england. There is money to be made for sure.

I have a few forex websites and my golden egg is http://www.forex-rates.biz (shame about the .biz element as I would of preferred .com but that is the way things worked out).

I have reviewed half a dozen forex affiliate programs and given them my ratings which can be read here; http://www.forex-rates.biz/forex-affiliate-programs.htm

Additionally I have spent some considerable time designing tools to use on my own website which I have now made available for other webmasters to use and can be viewed and downloaded here; http://www.forex-rates.biz/cet.htm

From my experience the conversion rate from signup to actual depositor in the forex market is low but also can be lucrative. When I say low about 5-10% but that is once again my experience and my websites tend to drive a certain niche of traffic.

Indeed, Forex is quite interesting, but beware....You can also lose money, and you should never trade on the foreign exchange market with money you cannot afford to lose.

But then again; you can like triple your money within 3 minutes...
I had a nice trade with japanese yen like that on eToro, some weeks ago :)

When you close your trade, the broker closes the position on the Interbank Market & credits your account with the loss or gain. This can all happen literally within a few seconds. Foreign exchange trades can be placed through a broker or market maker. Orders can be placed with a few clicks & the broker then passes the order along to a partner in the Interbank Market to fill your position.

To tell you the truth, I was not clear completely before reading the posts. Now, I am knowledgeable about Forex-trading. Thanks for helping me.

It's very simple: investing means putting your money work for you. Essentially, it's a different way of thinking about how to make money.
Then, Forex is the largest and MOST liquid Financial Market in the world. With no Centralized location of trades and trading Virtually no time restrictions Forex currency market offers its great Opportunities to every investor, Both private and corporate.

I been trading forex from past 6years, many said it's a scam and just a gamble which is done by the banks( so,called big players) but not true if you are a disciplined trader actually you can make money by trading forex. Right now i have my own strategy which i follow, i don't use any indicators nor any news to trade. My eyes are the best indicators to buy or sell and just sticking to my method am making a living trading forex.

Hopefully i shall start a thread more about forex which i have learnt all these years.
