I'm not even gonna bother giving you an example of the game I find relaxing haha it involves making sushi :P

Regarding game consoles...it would be between Wii and PS3 for me. I don't have a TV yet either...just using the computer to watch stuff so I guess I'll have to start there.

The only game console I've ever had was a Super Nintendo when I was younger. It ended up only having one usable controller after an intense game of Kirby's Avalanche...

I see what you mean, Christian...Sometimes I like to play games that don't have a lot of action per se.

Kinda reminds me of a Star Trek-Next Gen episode where the whole crew was taken over by a game.

I remember the first Nintendo days. My favorite games back then were Ninja Turtles, Super Mario Brothers and Mike Tyson

Super Mario World all the way Although the ninja turtles may have been interesting too.

I remember wanting Yoshi's Safari so badly and I got it one Christmas...only to realize I didn't get the gun to go with it. Never got to play it

Not personal, but many people I know didn't bother using the strap and that's what happened.

    Goodbye plasma!

Christian - I have one curious eyebrow up at your game.

Renee...no clue why I liked it lol. It did not get great reviews, but for some reason I guess I liked its simplicity. Maybe I was going through a chaotic period, and I needed this simplicity in my life . Or maybe I am just simply creating an excuse for liking it

Tut tut, should not mention you have a chipped PS1 and games as that is naughty.

It needs to be asked then.... Are you a Sonic person or a Mario person?

The call of duty series has to be the best. I am so hooked on black ops I agree and I also spend hours if not half a day playing at a time.

I guess you'll get to know that I'm a naughty girl in time

    Sonic or Mario..

It's really hard to choose, but I guess you'd call me sonic, unless it's old school NES - I remember having the very first NES when I was a little girl and I was awesome at Mario. Not sure how great I'd be today though...
Would be good to find out. I'll have to see if I can find the old NES at my parents place on the weekend.

    Haha.

It has been bugging me for a while now but is your DP you? It looks like Nadia from American Pie, lol

I had them both and can play both but I do prefer Mario. Alex the Kidd was an amazing game also.

My (slightly late but better then never) vote goes hands down to Xbox with KINECT.

Just played a few of the KINECT games - and absolutely amazing to use your whole body as a controller. None of the other consoles come close IMHO. Although since its so new - very few good titles out yet for KINECT specifically.

I prefer a high end pc over xbox/ps3.
For your kind of gameplay i think its the best solution; not as cheap as a ps3 or xbox but u can atach a wheel for racing games(i've tried one on the xbox, but it totally sucks) + a gamepad for sporting games.
A shooter is best played by keyboard.
The Wii instead is more of a familly/social alternative for playing games.
I'm not sure if 3d games are as pleasent to play as they sound.
    I find it troublesome to watch a 3d movie;but a 3d game?

I have to agree that a good PC is the way to go. I owned a few consoles as a kid but got tired of the controller/gamepad after PS1 - nothing beats the control of mouse and keyboard, not to mention if you don't mind the graphics you can find some older games whose gameplay blows all these new games out of the water. In high school I used to play hours of 4-way Goldeneye on N64 with friends after school, but nothing compared to the amount of time I've spent playing games with my brother (Starcraft and GTA2 all the way!)
