Default What is this? Jackpot Capital Casino instead of Wild Jack?

I noticed that when I click my Wild Jack banners, I get redirected to the Wild Jack homepage. When I go to download the casino, it brings me over to Jackpot Capital Casino instead. I go to write a review and I can't even download Wild Jack.

Why are my visitors being taken there instead of Wild Jack? Why are there no banners or marketing materials for this casino? Am I losing players because of this?

You must be in the U.S. I just went and clicked the download link and it redirected me as well. Then I ran the site through a non-U.S. proxy and was prompted to download the Wild Jack software. J.C. may be their U.S. alternative.

But I would make sure tracking is in place.

That is very strange, I never even heard of Jackpot Capital casino and there are no marketing materials for it when I log into Brightshare (nor tracking). So basically I am sending all US visitors to a casino and not getting credit for it?

I went to their affiliate page as well: http://affiliates.jackpotcapital.com/ and I can't seem to connect them with Brightshare either. Something just seems fishy here.

Found this thread at AGD (http://www.affiliateguarddog.com/for...ect-t2201.html)

    1. How will the redirect work?
When a US player clicks on the download button or the instant play on any one of our sites – he is redirected to a co branded landing page where he is able to download the Jackpot Capital casino. The bTag is carried over.
...we put up a separate report for this purpose already, whoever are sending traffic will see stats in "Additional Earning Report"...

Why can't Brightshare just make ALL their casinos accept US players...

All the affiliate links are screwed up now. If I want to target US players, I have to set up a Wild Jack banner or link and explain to them that when they get to the Wild Jack homepage, they have to go to Jackpot Capital instead.

Or all the free flash game links I have set up seem to go here instead: http://www.allslotsusa.com/dl_noreg.html rather than showing them the instant free flash slot games and such. Now I have to go through and replace all the links to go to another casino's flash games so that when visitors click on a particular instant free flash slot machine game, they get redirected straight there instead of a place where they do not see the game I'm talking about and instead have to sign up and stuff (not instant free flash slots anymore)

I understand that we get credit but it now makes it incredibly difficult to market your brands now. Just make all of your casinos accept US players and things will be simple again like they used to be.

I don't understand why big excellent companies like Brightshare always to into a post-mature phase where everything gets complicated, confusing and crappy.... "if it's not broken, don't fix it"

We have had a discussion going on about the flash games over at the GIA the past few days.

It appears that with all MGS that were using the flash games that visitors from the US are no longer allowed to play the games and are being redirected to the US Version of the software for the download.

What we have not determined yet is whether a visitor in this particular scenario is tagged to the player that originally offered the free game play....

The links themselves do not show the btag carrying through....BUT...I do not want to speculate about that just yet as we need more time for testing of this particular scenario. (don't start screaming or freaking out yet everyone as this has NOT been fully tested)

As far as Brightshare sending my US visitors to another property and offering the split of commissions....well at least they are doing something and keeping us somewhat in mind...

However, MYOWNPERSONALOPINION is that I would have liked to have had a bit of input as to WHO they decided to work with since Jackpot Capital would NOT have been my first choice....

I agree this does NOT seem right.

We recently asked in a different thread about where we would see stats foir us players and were told they would be in our regular brightshare stats, now it will be somewhere else??

And why would we have to supply banking information before we ever see the stats?

Shouldn't the stats be supplied to us reguardless of whether we ever provide a method of payment or not?

This entire shell game is hurting me just as bad if not worse than after UIGEA ...

Last month my BS stats were down 88% off the last 5 years monthly average. Through 3 weeks of this month my stats at BS/ASUSA are down 72% off that 5yr monthly average. Things are not looking very promising right now - I guess I havent been a valuable affiliate for BrightShare over the years.

perhaps its my lack of understanding but there seems to be some inconsistencies as well.

Visit each property and click the download casino and also the instant play.

If I click the download on All Slots I'm redirected to JPC.
If I click the download on All Jackpots I'm prompted with the installer.

If I click the all slots instant play I get a popup with two choices.

the first choice is for existing accounts, however it doesn't go to allslotsusa but to another page on the All Slots site.

the second choice is for new players and does redirects to JPC.

Click the "Play Flash Casino" on All Jackpots and an all slots usa pop up window is displayed.

If I click the wild jack instant play I get the same popup with the same two choices.

the first choice is for existing accounts, however it launches a flash game assist.

the second choice is for new players and does redirects to JPC.

First Web - the download does redirect to JPC

However, the "play online" link results with the following javascript error with IE8. Seem to be an undefined variable.

    Message: 'geo_user_asked' is undefined
    Line: 335
    Char: 3
    Code: 0

    Hey Rick,

I understand that AS USA Affiliate Program sent out login's to all affiliates and added QuickTender wallet as well.

Regarding Brightshare - a decision was taken to remove Brightshare and JF and Nexigames casinos from the US market and that's the reason for the changes here. All US players were migrated with their tags, with identical deals in place - things obviously take time to get in place properly, but affiliates are top priority on our agenda, as always.

    Thanks for your inputs.

    Cheers
