Question What role does consumer protection play on your portal site?

Some portal sites place a major focus helping consumers resolve issues with online gaming sites when consumers feel they have not been treated fairly. Some sites provide forums where consumers can voice their complaints, and some sites are careful about only listing reputable casinos or providing blacklists of known bad gaming sites.

    How about your portal sites?

sorry one my question is : have I some consumer ?

    no cosumer, no problem.

however I try choose the websites that have good guarantees in way that in future I can't have any problems.
( then I musted choose "I only list sites I have researched for trustworthiness. " ).

Currently I offer neither but hoping to add to my site soon. Aside from offering a list of reputable and disreputable casinos I would up the ante. Maybe provide more factual based truth about the industry. Taking the approach Consumer Protection is paramount I would make it so. I would take it a step further including proper downloading procedures, uninstalling software, ad ware etc…Basically any topic violating the Privacy Rights of the player.

Needless to say 888 would be the first in line to be tagged as disreputable.

Presently only reputable casinos are listed on site, so I like to think. Best I can do for now until my forum arrives.

I try to post warnings on my forum whenever I hear about brands/casinos who aren't paying or are in jeopardy of going out of business. (whether I promote them or not!)

I attempt to only promote brands I trust or that have a good rep in the industry.

I maintain a blacklist and an avoid list on my home page.

Additionally, I never hesitate to pull banners/ads from my site when I learn that one of my brands is cheating or abusing the players. I always put integrity above profit.... my feeling is that in the long run, I will profit more by earning the trust of my players.

I have helped many many players with casino resolutions. Regardless of what tag they are from. Sometimes with a positive outcome. Sometimes not (in this biz, the customer is not always right).

I feel it's a huge part of what I do. I want to be available if I can. Often times the affiliate is a major asset as a mediator. It can be time consuming but it's all part of customer service.

I'm trying to do the best for my players. I have a forum for their complaints, it's not very active, but they always can post their complaints there. I write articles how to find safe casinos and etc... I offer trustful list of online casinos, also I help players via email if they ask me.

It plays a part for us.

We offer a 1000 Euro guarantee on all my sportsbook programs.

We can do this because we do VET all our programs and reject 90% as either being too small, too devious, or simply ont the quality that we would like.

We don't have 100's of programs - only the top dozen or so from each stream. We recommend only the best and safest.

IF I think that the player has a legitimate gripe with a program and they've joined up through our sites - then I'll go into bat for them and get it sorted out.

If I cannot get it sorted out - then we'll pay the player directly - and drop the program.

    (see The Gooners Guarantee )

    -----------------------------------

In SEVEN years - I've had to payout just ONCE.

A UK bookmaker PremierBet went into receivership earlier in 2007 - about four months after we warned players to get their money out.

One player was not paid out. We paid them. I have framed the electronic payment receipt and have it in the office as a warning to stay aware and monitor partner programs.

    -----------------------------------

I see many dodgy outfits being promoted on a lot of "affiliate sites" and I can see that they're simply chasing the highest CPA with little due care and attention.

Ain't that the truth! I hope someday programs will do away with the CPA. This would certainly solve a lot of problems.

    Hi all,

Everything! I have helped many people and almost in all cases found them satisfaction and 100% for players signed up thru my sites even if I had to pay them myself (their original deposit as I can't afford to pay winnings and have no way of confirming this) ..... but I've never had a player come to me that I couldn't cover so I'm actually batting 100% for players signed thru my sites. I even have some players whom I paid that later got paid by the casino and I still am in contact with some of them and they are wonderful testers.

I have lost a couple of battles with casinos I don't promote and though I felt bad for the player I know there are many scumbag casinos out there and thus its to be expected.

I hope the players took my advice and signed thru the casinos I promote because I know I can find them satisfaction should a problem arise.
Almost Here! How would you like to be able to get not just one sign up from your player, or even a couple, but every single casino they join from here on? I've a plan that can make that happen and it will likely also tell you every time the player is active within the casino.
