What’s your craziest “almost win” story in a casino or online slots?

Everyone who gambles has that one story about the moment when the big win was so close, but it slipped away. For example:

• You got 4 scatters and the fifth one stopped just half a reel away.
• The jackpot symbol lit up but stopped right next to the winning spot.
• In blackjack you hit and went bust with 22, while the dealer pulled 21 that same hand.
• You hit a big win, only to lose it all right after on the next machine.

:eyebrow: Share your stories — it’d be fun to hear about those “heart attack moments” you’ve had in slots or at the casino!

Well i consider my self when on rage a betsizer of around 1.5€-10€ (real money , no affiliate given or stream money, usually no bonus money either)

I bet low to raise then feel nothing happened then lower and then you always get the feature or the big wins.. happens to much. or when you just randomly bet 5€ + and gets 3/4 scatters and wants to calm down and lower bet to to 0.5€ and hits the bonus, thosem oments you dont like at all haha.

And we have my first ever max win hit on a hacksaw betting min bet with boost 0.3€ and thinking why did i not get this on a higher bet.

f****** annoying
challenge for mods

Had a max win setup with expanding wilds and multipliers lined up, but the last spin completely missed the key reel. Watched what could’ve been five figures dissolve into a fraction.

My first time playing in an online casino I got up over 30K twice, BUT, didn't cash out and gave it all back.

In a real casino Hard Rock Casino Tampa I was up over 100K before and same fkn thing, left three days later down $30K.

getting old....

curious??? me too, but trying to remain young and strong

The worst thing that ever happened to me was 10+ years ago i won $8000 on Keno at Magic Box Casino on $100 deposit , I did not read the rules I guess but after I won $8000 I went to the Chinese kitchen game and won $2500 on a $10 bet then increased it to $20 and won another $3000 .They didn't pay me claimed i wagered all the 8k winning and my $7500 w/d was voided as I increased the bet. So I didn't go back and wont ever work with these clowns lol.

I came across this older discussion and wanted to add my own near-miss. I once needed one more bonus symbol on a low‑stake spin and watched it stop literally one spot above the reel. Still think about it. Curious if anyone here has ever turned an “almost” into a real win later on with the same game or slot series?
