About LinkBacksThe Thunderbirds?
It's been years that I have seen them and have been watching them all again on a streaming device through Crackle. I am only about half way through them currently but having fun watching them and laughing about how I was so fascinated by them back in the day. (Crackle is avilable on the web also)
I read up on the show recently, they did about 32 episodes and the show aired 1965 and 1966, before a lot of you were born.
This was groundbreaking stuff in the 60's, jets and other aircraft that could land like a Harrier, explosions and other special effects, mobile communcations, limos with machine guns in the grille, spy equipment in a ladies compact, poor women drivers being ridiculed, chauvanistic comments.....ahhhh the 60's....lol
Whew that was a close one but International Rescue did it again...lol

I'm 25 years old now. I can only remember watching the show when I was young. But I can't remember any of the episodes. It is all vague

A bit before my time as well, though I do remember seeing reruns of it times when I was a kid.
Can't remember any of the storylines now, just the way they'd walk around.

I also can only remember watching it as a kid but nothing about the show.
There was a boy up the road from our place who had massive eyebrows and we used to call him thunderbirds are go.__________________

OMG I feel pretty old now. I am not sure if I have a favourite episode, but my favourite character is Lady Penelope.

Yea Hodgey, that was early in the first season.
Just watched one the other night, in it a good friend of Lady Penelope was ripped off by a casino, and then later kidnapped to steal a Picasso.
International Rescue saved her and got the bad guys from the casino, got her money returned and she could than gamble safely again.....

I wonder who owns the rights to them now.
Personally, I think it would make a Great theme for a slot (hey Playtech are you listening?)
I also wonder how the networks felt about missing the opportunity to run with the show after a few years when it was in syndication.

I remember watching Thunderbirds, Captain Scarlett, Joe90 etc but I couldnt name any episodes.
What I can tell you is that I made tracey island out of egg cartons, loo roll holders, yoghurt pots and paper mache, with the help of Blue Peter.
