Question What are your hopes and Dreams for Revenue Growth?

We're all affiliates because we hope to earn enough in that role to feel like it is a worthwhile effort. And I'm sure most or all of us have dreams that we will do very well indeed over the longer term.

This weeks question is the following:

If your affiliate business grows the way you hope it will, how much more revenue will you be earning in two years compared with today? Will it be 25% bigger, 50% bigger, twice as big, or ten times as big?

Let us know your hopes and dreams, and be sure to share in in a post how you think you will get there. Doing the same thing better? Or doing something entirely new?

I worked out today that my monthly affiliate revenue is equal to about 4 days income from my 'real' job, so it needs to increase tenfold. It seems a lot, but I still feel it's achievable with slow, steady growth.

My plan? Each site I'll create has to consistently achieve a monthly revenue before I move on to the next. Fortune Palace is now ticking over fairly well (though it still needs regular maintenance) so I've put my creative energies into a new site which I'm about to launch in a few weeks.

Once the 'portfolio' of sites earns enough monthly income to replace one day of real work per week, I'll use that day to work on the next site. Hopefully, the growth will then gain some critical mass.

I love this work (though it drives me insane at times!) and I look forward to the day when I can do this as my main occupation.

I realistically hope that my revenue grows an order of 50% or more. It really depends on how much free time I can re-invest. I think that no matter what happens there's still going to be a thriving online gambling business. I'm starting to get the idea that it's the webmasters who adapt and evolve with the online world are the ones who are going to have the most success.

In order for me to increase my revenue I think I'll have to break into a new larger niche.

In the case of Casino City, I expect that our affiliate revenue will triple over the next two years. Like most affiliates, our revenue shrank over the past year, so if I roll back the clock a year, what I am actually expecting is that our affiliate revenue will double over a three year period that began a year ago.

I expect the growth will come from a number of areas. They include 1) managing our existing sites and affiliate relations better, 2) expanding our marketing approaches into new areas such as social networking applications, and 3) making our Casino City site available in versions localized for many different national markets.

As a new-ish affiliate, I think 300% is a realistic goal for two years from now. Still not enough to retire on but on the right track.

Keeping my goals in plain sight I know that I need to triple my income if not qaudruple to do this "fun" full time. Progress is coming along and I agree we must all adapt to the current environment and carry on.

I'm one of those folks that put 500%. My goal is realisticly 3-5X. I big reason is my casino site is finally starting to pull some traffic and get rankings. Once the linnks are in place and the content a bit more automated (once I flush out the initial stuff), I should see a huge increase in revenue versus relying on revenues from my idle sports wagering site.
