Default What's a competative commision for gamming site?

I'm just starting the online webcam casino WagerX.com. I'm just starting an affiliate program.. I've looked at others and some commisions are pretty high.. What's a competative commision in terms of % of money deposited over the lifetime of the signup? Any ideas?

Also, anyone wnat to give me some comments on the design of WagerX.com I'd appreciate it. I'm not so convinced about the half naked girl on the homepage, but I'm a guy and it seemed like a good idea at the time.

Thanks..

Well..... I'm a girl, and I hate seeing half-naked women on casino sites. It tells me right up front who they're marketing to, and it ain't me!!!!! Keep in mind that at least half the online gamblers are women.....

As to a competitive commission rate for affiliates, most programs pay 25-35%, with a couple lower, and some higher. The better your commission rate, the more affiliates you're going to get.

I am not a girl, but I also am not a big fan of casino sites with naked or half naked women on the home page.

I agree with Cindy on the 25%-35% range.

Perosnally, I usually only take revenue share deals and not % or deposits.

Default Thanks for the input!

Thank you Slycin56 and universal4. I'm going to make over the site a little and remove the "half naked model" . After thinking about it some time, I agree. I think it will avert women from signing up.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

When you think about it, the Affiliates are probably doing better than the casino owners. Am I wrong?

You guys are saying that the commission for an affiliate is around 25 % - 35 % of deposit. (Lifetime revenue sharing) Bonuses for first time deposits are about 100 % (more on some casinos, with req's) operating cost of gamming software provider. 20 % 1st tier
operating costs.. advertising ( ? ? ) etc.. customer service ( ? ? ) , and the payouts ( ? ?)

According to these numbers I could probably do better being an affiliate all things being equal?

Thanks for the input. I've been in the online community for about 8 years now, but the gamming niche is completely different from what I am used too. An entire new set of rules.

The 25 - 35% is usually on Net Revenue, NOT deposits.
