Question What's the highest percent traffic on a site of yours from mobile & tablet devices?

Twice in the past we've run polls asking members about what percentage of their traffic was from mobile devices (tablets and phones). Most recently, nearly four years ago in July 2014, and before that in November 2011. Mobile traffic continues to grow, so I thought it would be interesting to ask the same question once again.

For the GPWA website, in 2011 the percentage was 5.37%. Four years ago it had grown to 12.62%, and today it is at 22.8%. And that is for the GPWA website, whose target audience is webmasters, folks that are much more likely to use a desktop than the average gaming oriented site. Consumer oriented sites I'm involved with show greater than 50% mobile usage.

If you use Google Analytics, it reports on how many visits to a site are from mobile and tablet devices. To find the information, just look at the home page for your site in the section titled "What are your top devices?" where sessions by device is shown (desktop, mobile, and tablet).

Take a look at your sites, and let us know what the highest percentage of mobile and tablet users you found on any of your sites, and how the percentage of mobile and tablet users has evolved over time. And make a post to let us know what sort of other values you see on your other sites, and what devices are most popular on your sites.

And let us know what you have done or plan to do to tailor you sites for mobile device users.

And if you have a few extra moments, take a look at the old poll to see the data and the comments on this question from 2011 and 2014. Here are the old threads:

2014: What's the highest percent traffic on a site of yours from mobile & tablet devices?
2011: What's the highest percent traffic on a site of yours from mobile & tablet devices?

I've closed those threads so the results are not corrupted by folks posting current information in those old threads rather than in this one.

Around 71-2%, and seems to go up steadily each month. Funny how that goes. Ever since people started upgrading their monitors, from 13" to 15" to 17 etc we started optimizing content for larger viewtables. Now again we are optimizing for something that's barely visible at around 5"

In a tad over four (4) years, mobile traffic has substantially grown from around 2% in 2014 (slots), to around 53% (2018). That figure increases monthly.

I would happily give up every single mobile user that visits my site for top desktop rankings. Mobile is so useless for poker. The client value is beyond poor

Not much difference for casinos. least for me. Apart from a very small % of mobile players, I've found most are low-rollers. However, desktop users (regardless of casino brand/game provider) the average drop is definitely considerably higher.

Said this a few time before, IMO the people with disposable income, are those who are of the older-set. And, would more likely play on a Desktop. Granted there are exceptions to that opinion. But on a whole I believe; least its evident within my stats, that the aforementioned players (Desktop) are those who account for most of my income.

Being able to access the net via a mobile or tablet is great these day. The convenience of using it to place bets a sportsbook, yeah... I can see the benefits. But...IMO playing poker, or casino games is not that great. Though, with more and more people ditching their PC/Laptop for mobile/tablets, I guess we have no option but to go with the flow per se!

The result of the vote is very interesting. I always see that our visitors come from around 70% from mobile.
