Question What's the highest percent traffic on a site of yours from mobile & tablet devices?

Three times in the past we've run polls asking members about what percentage of their traffic was from mobile devices (tablets and phones). Most recently, nearly four years ago in April 2018, and before that in July 2014 and in November 2011. Mobile traffic continues to grow, so I thought it would be interesting to ask the same question once again.

For the GPWA website, in 2011 the percentage was 5.37%, growing to 2.62% in 2014, to 22.8% in 2018 and at the beginning of this year it was at 27.7%. And that is for the GPWA website, whose target audience is webmasters, folks that are much more likely to use a desktop than the average gaming oriented site. Consumer oriented sites I'm involved with show greater than 50% mobile usage.

If you use Google Analytics, it reports on how many visits to a site are from desktop, mobile and tablet devices. To find the information, just look at the mobile overview page within the audience section where the number of users in each device category are shown.

Take a look at your sites, and let us know what the highest percentage of mobile and tablet users you found on any of your sites, and how the percentage of mobile and tablet users has evolved over time. And make a post to let us know what sort of other values you see on your other sites, and what devices are most popular on your sites.

And let us know what you have done or plan to do to tailor you sites for mobile device users.

And if you have a few extra moments, take a look at the old poll to see the data and the comments on this question from 2011, 2014 and 2018. Here are the old threads:

2018: What's the highest percent traffic on a site of yours from mobile & tablet devices?
2014: What's the highest percent traffic on a site of yours from mobile & tablet devices?
2011: What's the highest percent traffic on a site of yours from mobile & tablet devices?

I've closed those threads so the results are not corrupted by folks posting current information in those old threads rather than in this one.

Non-mobile traffic tends to sit around 33-35% for us at present, 60-70

It’s more than 70% but less than 80% for me. People are starting to use their mobile phones more these days, especially given the fact that most of the time, we’re on the go and it’s the easiest alternative to use.
