    Default Casino Shield

I can understand your feelings of apprehension and skepticism. You must protect your sources of income. The fact is that it is not a scam or bullsh_t. Obviously this program may not interest all in the industry. Rarely does anything. I welcome you test it out for your self. Come to your own conclusions.

We are currently working on other variations of the app for different opportunities. Thank you once again for your input. Have a nice day.

Anyone that would like to come by our office and see our operation is welcome to do so - we also have a webcam set up so you can take a "Virtual" tour anytime. Send me your phone number and i will call you, walk through the halls in front of the webcams and let you meet the employees and see our place of business.

Come-on, lets hold the SCAM talk down and try to be constructive. if you have not done the research then do a little, i'd be happy to help anyone that ask for it.

    have a great day folks

I think you lost most of us when you figured you could trap portal owners into using your PPC forever.

Your program may be good, but your marketing is all wrong.

Excellent point Brian. I have admittedly not had time to look into this myself, but I will do that. I'm simply too busy right now. Too much on my plate at the time being so to speak.

That said, I must admit at the same time that I'm not so sure how much faith I actually have in the product, after having read a certain thread at another message board. Security, which is what is trying to be sold, is of the utmost importance, but that has been compromised. Even is only for 30 seconds on the internet, a breach of security to devastate a person in more ways than one can count.

I admire your diligence, and your belief in your product, but I have to admit, that after hearing of the breech, however long or short the time frame was, it causes me to wonder.

sorry you feel that way - we have a a couple hundred people in the past 7 days that don't think so and see the future in whatís happening here. the time of hoping your customers come back because you sent them an e-mail is going away. Portals using casino shield are going to capture all the customers, its just a fact.

All portals share customers - once a portal starts using casino shield and is able to market directly to customers every time they play a casino there is little to no chance that the customer is going to go to any other portal again. we have been researching this for a year and it is just fact at this point. customers that use casino shield - 9 times out of 10 they click on the ads or bonus links in the software when they want a new casino game. we watched it happen over and over and over again.

I hope you give it a try before you just write it off.

All affiliate programs have, literally, thousands of affiliates.

Only about 10% of them produce.

I dont't see any reason to pay for a visitor what was already on my site, if he likes my site he will bookmark it and come back anyway...
    my point.....

    AND

I DON'T like to receive SPAM in any way, like i did a couple of days ago from this program, that is another reason that i will not put this stuff on my sites...

I would like to request that Casino Shield contact the marketing company that this mail came from and ensure that my e-mail address be removed from the list.

Sorry I've been away for a few days and thanks for all the comments. I've read most of the replies, and there is no way that I would promote this product. In fact I would warn users not to load it into a system where they are entering cc info. I would also actively seek a removal tool, and provide this to anyone visiting my portals.

Toolbars and similar products are now being seen for the spyware and affiliate link theft devices that they are, and surfers should be discouraged from installing them. Even the mighty Google has admitted that their toolbar has no relationship to page range and is just for entertainment. I read "entertainment" as scam to get surfers to load spyware.

I can definately see the benfits of this idea. Putting aside the question of trust, security and marketing techniques, I've always been concerned that i pass on a customer to a casino who are the then able to market other propertes they own to my customer referral without necessarily crediting my affiliate account.

They come, they get referred, they go. On to the next. Its not ideal unless you can hook them into a mailing list. So the concept here, or at least the idea of what it wants to achieve, i think is a good one. Whether this is the right vehicle i'm not necessarily convinced of yet, but kudos for the idea.

As an aside, i think a *few* (not *all* by a long way) of the comments aimed in the direction of Casinoshield's defendent are downright rude, if not abusive (no particular names in mind). Even if you are wary or don't like it, you could at least try and sound like you are worth listening to.

I think that if casino shield ran on *your* server and you just had a licence key or something, with full control over the software, people would be alot more understanding of this.

Simmo, many of the affiliate programs already credit us for the cross-marketing they do.

    As to this -

I only saw one comment that was outright rude. We generally try not to allow rude or abusive behavoir on this board, but people are allowed to become emotional about issues.

Especially when they've been spammed, and then attempted to be convinced to use said spammer's service.

so quick to accuse - so little research...

I'm guessing you don't want to participate and lack the vision that the successful casino portal operators posses. It is no matter to us at this point, we have achieved goals at this point we never thought would happen in the first year much less the first 2 months.

I congratulate all of those on this board that have become a casino shield distributor. to those of you who have not yet Iím sure you'll enjoy your status quo.

Just to give everyone a thought to ponder - What if a casino manufacturer distributed casino shield? That would bypass the portal all together wouldnít it? Now they can promote their new games directly to the user on the desktop. No more e-mails, no more referral cash to portals, only direct access to customers every time someone wants to play a game. Kudos to the early adopters, Iím sorry for those that didn't have the vision to take action sooner. Once casino game manufacturers are delivering casino shield directly they will never need to use portals to get customers again.

We want to help portals stay between the casinos and the customers Ė casino shield does that for you. How on earth can you not see what is going to happen?

    Have a great new year.

Your philanthropical attitude almost seems sincere up there....

But then all we have to do is remember that you're going to hold our player hostage and charge us .25/click for "giving" us that "security".

Lord, isn't that called racketeering in other circles?
