Deposits or losses of $5k, $20k or $50k. What's your number?
For me it starts at $5k. Anyone hovering on this and above is a big player.

I have had 2 in my long years, both stopped playing shortly after giving me 80K in earnings within a week
That to me is a whale, lines out...

Loses are not important. Important are deposits. But you must be sure the player is not the savvy player (then even big loses are big troubles in future). Still even deposits do not say anything. Whale can come just for bonus and turn around or be detagged.
Whale is someone who is throwing away at least low 6 figures lifetime. At least western high-middle class fcked up person who decided to dedicate money to this. But to whom he will dedicate the money it is a question. Another question is if we get the credit for him.

i had some players donk off 8k in a month on Unibet lately.
whale / gambling addict- same thing no?
I mean who is bankrolled to donk off 8k in a calendar month, and practices responsible gambling / bankroll management? not many true whales around (people who can afford it and will return)
sadly my whale did not return the next month - so i guess my "whale" was just a degenerate gambler. I hope they learned a lesson / got some help tbh.

Unibet resets/NCO. Maybe he just won in previous month. Did you check? He could also win elsewhere.

There are many people with 8k a month in disposable income.
Hell, there are some people with 8 figures a month in disposable income, though I don't think we've ever bagged one.
I have personally seen affiliate back-ends with players who deposited over 1 million dollars a year and punted it in casino/sb/poker, but out of respect I won't mention who manages to bag clients like this (the lucky fucks).

Speaking about Bp/Rn in next thread. I have there nearly 1M depositor/year. He is from Latam actually. And he was retagged btw. So it is a nonsense from so many points that they would be intentionally dishonest.

1 mill depositors per year would make you bigger than XL Media, Cantena, Clever and Better Collective combined.
Care to share some screenshots?
I'm genuinely interested as I thought they were some of the biggest in the industry.
1M depositor (1 whale depositing 1m/year) =/= 1M depositors (1,000,000 bettors depositing anything)...
yeah some lucky bastards probably have 1M depositors per year..not me

Not comforting to know that Bovada/Bodog group would detag $1M per year depositor. They "seem" to have a reputation of not f8cking with affiliates.
Or may be that could be just a perception, until one hits it real big.

Guys this is honestly a retarded thread or am I writing like retard? Probably I am.
So it was not DE-tagged, but RE-tagged player (=he WAS carried over; he was retagged under new program). I still DO have the player. So it just proves bp are ok.

Most of players come and go. Small and big ones.
My observation with whales are just those pitiful persons who start to play relatively low and as time goes they go with deposits from 3 figures to 4, sometimes 5... Here is very important how the book/casino is taking care of that player. Here bet365 does so well with product and bovada for example with VIP services.

The players that I consider whales, tend to stick around for years. That is of course one of the reasons I trust the programs I work with, as these high dollar earning players don't disappear quickly, but continue to deposit month after month. On some programs I can see they have large bonuses each month, and while those are a deduction in most programs, it retains the player and keeps them pumping in those juicy deposits, so I don't mind one bit that the sites give them extra incentives![]()

A big player for me is someone who deposits/loses over $5000 for a few consecutive months, I wouldn't class anyone as a whale unless they exceed $50,000 in deposits/loses.

I currently see some Indians with monthly deposits of 100k plus. My probably biggest fish was a Swiss with deposits of 600k pa.
So yes, I mean everything over 100k in deposits and a corresponding spending behavior I would call a whale.
You wanted to say that you see 100K+ Indians. Stay safe in New Delhi.I currently see some Indians with monthly deposits of 100k plus.
