"weaponising psychology"... damn.. This is the dumbest thing I've ever heard in my life, so if that's the case, according to them, any advertising should be blocked because it affects us psychologically and makes us buy many things we don't need just for nothing! Not to mention election propaganda...now that weaponising psychology

"It's all a bunch of crap... but that's ok, that's on." That phrase sums up my mood lately.

Regarding Canada banning all sports betting ads, I think it's too much. I believe they are asking for something extreme to later agree on something more moderate. Also, the discourse about weaponizing psychology is pathetic. Ads are just a bunch of the thousands of stimuli a person faces daily. Attributing ads the power to manipulate all behavior is conveniently ignoring the rest of the factors.
