How did you end up in the affiliate gambling industry ? I have joined in the route of being involved with internet marketing for years.

For me it was basically a fluke. I was a web developer before I became an affiliate manager and applied for the job thinking there was no way I would get it. I got hired over 2 other people who had better technical skills than me because I can talk to people.

I was just as unexpected and lucky.

I was made redundant from a job in banking and by coincidence spoke to a friend recruiting AM's the very same day!

After some pretty intensive learning and training of my new industry I'm now thinking careerwise it's the best accidental move ever!

I started frequenting a couple of poker forums and was asked by one if I was willing to be a moderator. After about a year or so of finding games and offers for the members there I decided to have a go myself.

Total fluke for me too.

6 years ago I became very interested in learning poker and started hanging out in a poker forum reading everything I could. I read a post where these guys were talking about "expected value" from casino bonuses. I had some money from playing poker to bankroll and gave it a shot. I was very "lucky".

I was finishing up my IT degree around this same time and had an intro to website class where we had to make a website. I made a site about my experience playing at casinos that had these "expected value " bonuses, that actually paid players, how long the payouts took, what game to play, etc.

I saw another guy who ran a site that was very similar that had affiliate links...followed them to a few affiliate programs and the rest is history.
