I agree with every word with one exception. I will be rather alive than dead, crawling through the sht, getting jabs every day, getting rectal probes, getting GPS bracelets. It is horrible, but when life ends, it is the end. The more something p1ss me off, the more energy I have. So I do not want to die just because here we are starting to live in Stalinism on steroids.

Soon I will have to make stupid facebook and linkedin, because I was told by banks they look for me at social networks. Just to obtain my affiliate revenue. That is just a side note. Everything was written 50 years ago by authors like P.K. Dick or Neil Stephenson. We just have to go to this stage and few people have to survive sane.

For now I am in Brazil. I quite hated the country after a decade+ because nothing works here (like to get water and electricity and food is a fulltime job). But now during Corona, I can only recommend the country. At border they came with PCR tests, but they check every 30th person. Also some insurance is needed but again, at least in Rio, it is a formality. In Brazil people do not give a f..k. Sometimes some cities are randomly closed, but those ranom nuisances are common here. People are dying, new mutations are being born here for whole world, so the world can blame brazil soon that their vaccines might be pretty useless soon. Either way, since it is pretty dangerous corona-wise, I really recommend to wear a proper respirator outside, avoid crowds etc. Another surplus is that as BRL plummeted and tourism as well, everything is ultra cheap. Uber few kilometers 1 USD. 4 or 5* hotels can be 20-30 USD/night. Definitely better to be here than waiting in lockdown until the Godot comes.

And be aware, some EU countries forbade citizens to enter Brazil. I guess it can not be enforced. Another part of the mosaic from the Great New World.

My body, my choice, I will not take it, get bent.
So your body your choice, but when it comes to my own body, I have to go with your choice? Did I understand that right?

I have no problem with people who do not wish to take it. I understand, and just like religion, I wouldn't try to force my beliefs on them. So why is it not the same in reverse? Everything in life is risk vs reward. If the reward of taking a vaccine is not worth the risk, you don't take it, and vice versa. Just like driving your car every day. The risk of dying in an accident is worth the reward of being able to get to your destination becuase the chance of it happening is low.

I never said I don't want to take it. Honestly, we have no rush here in Australia. We have no covid. So if I had no need to travel, I'd just wait it out until it was completely necessary for what I wanted to do, but I haven't seen my boyfriend in over a year and the only way I'm going to be able to leave the country to do that is to get vaccinated. I'm not scared of covid, and I'm not scared of a vaccine. I've been vacinated my entire life for many things. I'm more scared that I will never be able to live again.

I am from Montenegro, and the vaccines were delivered to us last month, and the purchase of a larger number of doses is in progress. Vaccination and applications for vaccination have begun, and I expect to be vaccinated in a week.

Just received my Pfizer vaccine this morning. Very fast and efficient. Unfortunately there were not many people there however online they are fully booked. Hope it's not a case of people booking and not showing up at the expense of those that are desperately waiting for their vaccine.

I have applied online for Pfizer, but it will take ages to get a call. Here, everything is regulated so badly...

I got lucky, my first dose was in January and my second dose was in February so I am fully vaccinated. I live in Green Bay Wisconsin.

When I read in the newspaper that the vaccines were available, I checked online and all the sites were busy. But I checked again the next day and lucked out and got an appointment for the following week.

I was never hesitant about getting the shot.

After I got the first one, it was a strange feeling of happiness and relief. It was like a cloud lifted that was hanging over me for almost a year.

I qualified in the first round because I'm over 65. But my wife doesn't trust it and will likely never get one. The funny thing is she was a nurse before she retired. She had no problem giving shots but she doesn't like to get them.

Had my first dose of the AZ vaccine on Sunday, arm's still sore 3 days later - certainly more so than a regular jab - but other than that pleased to have got it done.

I had my second dose of the Moderna vaccine two weeks ago yesterday. Good to be fully immunized, to the extent vaccines do that. I now see restaurants, movie theatres, and some travel and gatherings in my future once again.

Great to hear that! I believe that the whole purpose of immunization is that we all get back to normal life as much as we can.
