Default Who can help me with some statistics?

    Hello,

I know USA is on top when it comes to nationwide online gambling turnover. Germany and Uk are also good. But I am looking for specific statistics about online gambling turnover divided by countries.

Can somebody help me with some stats? For example a table with the top25 countries with the highest online gambling turnover.

    Thanks

Maybe a "special" statistic is interesting for you too. These are the top 10 nations with the largest gambling losses. The ranking is based on data from H2 Gambling Capital (http://www.h2gc.com/). It's the annual average gaming losses divided by the population, total 200 countries checked.

    1. Australia - Gaming Losses Per Adult: $1,288
    2. Singapore - Gaming Losses Per Adult: $1,174
    3. Ireland - Gaming Losses Per Adult: $588
    4. Canada - Gaming Losses Per Adult: $568
    5. Finnland - Gaming Losses Per Adult: $553
    6. Italy - Gaming Losses Per Adult: $517
    7. Hong Kong - Gaming Losses Per Adult: $503
    8. Norway - Gaming Losses Per Adult: $448
    9. Greece - Gaming Losses Per Adult: $420
    10. Spain - Gaming Losses Per Adult: $418

Because Australia is at the top - I suspect that THOSE stats are for all forms of gambling, online / offline, including, lotto, scratch tickets, sports, horses and casino. I couldn't find the data Leopold despite a long search on that site - can you confirm exactly what it shows?

There is a proliferation of "pokies" (physical slot machines) in pubs and clubs right throughout Australia, and they are a huge source of income for a lot of those clubs.

Actually I've weekend and a freshly baked apple cake in front of me...

    But, it's o.k. ...

    ---

    Dear Reader,

please do not be frightened, because: Yes, there is a world outside the internet with gambling and billions of people are gambling without using virtual places …Today! … But just the next morning, if a player wakes up things can change…

The target of casino webmasters or casino representatives should not only be online gambler. This is short-sighted and one of the biggest fallacy of the industry. Laws are changing in one or other directions, but real life players are still players, and if you think about some statistics with long-term visions then you can draw the appropriate conclusions.

If you read my post carefully, you see the answers. As I wrote, it's a statistic from the „largest gambling losses“ and not largest roulette losses or largest online casino losses. As i wrote, the calculation made by „the annual average gaming losses divided by the population“ and not by gamblers annual average gaming losses.

I am a little bit surprised, that H2 Gambling Capital is not as popular as it should be. Business people who are selling or offering a product, should use every good source. Book stores and the Internet offers the possibility to find out very well about products services and backgrounds. H2 Gambling Capital is only one source.

To explain the 1st and last place: As TheGooner wrote, pokies are Australia’s favorite game, and people from Spain love Football bets, cards and lottery („ElGordo“).

Normally it's the job of a casino program owner to help Sergej. Every question from a webmaster in this direction should be answered, regardless if the question is coming private or public. Beeing a casino representative is not a fair-weather job.

    ---

    You want a H2 example?

"In this 2013 report, H2 Gambling Capital, commissioned by Odobo, look at the state of the online gambling market and future forecasts for market growth over the next 4 years."

Here is the full and very interesting public H2 report: http://files.odobo.com/H2Report

    ---

The problem with many statistics is,that the results are coming 2-3 years later. But the value is still very high.

Sergej, one other online statistic I want to give you today. The 30 most important online poker nations from 2010, calculated with data from pokertableratings.com:

    USA
    Germany
    Russia
    Canada
    GB
    France
    Spain
    Netherlands
    Sweden
    Australia
    Finnland
    Ukraine
    Poland
    Brasil
    Hungary
    Denmark
    Belarus
    Romania
    Austria
    Italy
    Norway
    China
    Belgium
    Swiss
    Estonia
    Portugal
    Argentia
    Slowenia
    Ireland
    Lithuania

    ---

Perhaps in the meantime somebody else from the 18,584 members, 179 online in the last 24 hours, is taking the time for you too in searching and helping or is asking the supervisor for statistical details.

I'm not surprised to see Australia at #1. Like TheGooner mentioned, pokies are everywhere over here and are pretty popular. Plus people love betting on sports as well.

For Singapore I'm guessing that is largely due to the popularity of 4D, a type of lotto draw where people choose 4 numbers. Sometimes you see massive queues of people waiting to buy tickets.

Question (again): How much money are people losing with gambling ... What are the results of the (losing) top 10 nations (USA, China, Japan, Italy, GB, Australia, Germany, France, Canada and Spain)?

Actually answer (Statistic for 2013 in $US billion):

    ---

    And do you remember?

    2012 ... ?

Playtech has signed a joint venture agreement with the German Merkur Interactive GmbH, the online division of the Gauselmann Group.

Yes, we German knows, what kind of human Mr. Gauselmann ...

I can tell you stories about him and his "work" from the last 30 years ....

    Unbelievable!!!

In the past the German Federal Parliament (German Bundestag) was in Bonn and not in Berlin. I was informed, that Mr. Gauselmann installed a little gambling hall directly in the German Bundestag for the members of the parliament, that they can play (for him).

The public was not informed about it! A disgusting lobbying!

    Only one story.........................

The real fine casinos in Germany are dying because it's forbidden for them to make promotion in any way for their fair games, but the Gauselmann slots-like rip-off machines with a house edge of 20-40%, placed in shabby gambling halls here in Germany AND IN THE GERMAN BUNDESTAG IN THE PAST, sprouts up like mushrooms on greenfield sites, can do what they want.

Nearly every day a German gambling hall will be robbed. (Proof: https://www.google.de/search?client=...erfall&tbm=nws).

And Mr. Gauselmann is allowed to make surreptitious advertising on TV. If you are German, then look closely at the ground of the swimming bath of "TV total Turmspringen" with Mr. Stefan Raab next time.

You will see the Gauselmann Merkur Sun!

Absolutely right. The only good thing is that he actively fights against the "gambling contract" and the lotto/oddset monopoly in germany. Good for affilites and german based professional betfair traders.
