Who is Displaying at London Affiliate Conference?

In my quest to rectify my 2009 faults here:

Could someone display a list of programs who are displaying at the London Conference? Are any very harmful to affiliates? I'm not saying small complaints but rather large harmful affiliate programs?

Please be held accountable here. If we are truly in this together then we must address this. A deposit on a booth does not protect affiliates.

A complete list of all programs displaying is the way to go. Alex, could you supply this?

As for NordicBet i am pretty shocked that you even have to ask, the company has been around since 2002 as for the affiliate program it was formed in September 2009 and i created every part of it including the T&Cs and I can proudly say that every part of the program is affiliate freindly.

Paula, Alex is on holiday till next week if memory serves. The LAC website (www.londonaffiliateconference.com) has not been updated (yet) with the usual list of "sponsor" programs but does list a couple of programs on the home page.... the usual big guns are there.

Kind of interesting that you say you have never looked at Nordicbet, it is a good way for me to evaluate the value of the GPWA, i know everybody says you get out what you put in, and i think i out a lot in being active and yet one of the most active affiliayte posters has never looked at my program.......

Yeah Shaun it says alot But sometimes affiliates judge a program by the name ,it gives me impression of sports betting and unless i were looking for sports book i probably wouldn't pay much attention either.Having NOW looked at your website i see you guys got quite a bit there.

Very true. I thought it was sportsbook and I am casino only. It's me not paying attn and not gpwa value I think. I see now that you just launched a download casino too.

To get back to this..

Rather than expelling programs from the event, I wonder if adding seals such as GAU, AGD and others to those who have them or are pending approval either on the booth or in a brochure would be feasable to alert affs that the program has taken the extra step. Or, if they are rogued, that also could be printed. It would give incentive for programs to stay off that list!

Some sort of system should be implemented IMHO.

I like the way that you are thinking, i for one am pretty sick of seeing operators change terms ect but the problem i see is that who decideds which rooms are rouge and which are okay, for example look at AP massive problems running into millions yet many did not drop them and now all seems to have been forgotten about but some will still be pissed and rouge them, would you class them as arouge operator?

As i said when this came up on a previous thread i think it is better that they show up in public and people can go face to face with them better than hiding on the dark.

It might be easier to make a list of programs that should not be allowed at the show to recruit newbie affiliates. The list should include:

• Vegas Affiliates
• Affiliate Lounge
• Cpays
• Grand Prive / Villa Fortuna
• Absolute Poker / Ultimate Bet / Chipleader

Affiliate Lounge is considered a Predatory affiliate program for the following reasons:

1. Removal of Players from Affiliate Account if those players are considered 'Dormant'

2. Breach of Contract

3. Implementation of Affiliate Quota, Retroactively, which can result in termination of account and commissions stealing.


Please do NOT promote Affiliate Lounge until which time they have resolved these very serious matters.

I don't feel it should be that difficult to have quality control.

Event orgainizers should not ignore jtodd videos, agd warnings, gau warnings, cm warnings, a kazillion posts etc etc. We are not talking about average small problems with a program. We are talking about the big stuff.

There are plenty of great programs to fill a room. Fortunatly, not many on the list right now have MAJOR problems.

I know we won't agree on this shaun and it's good to hear everyones thoughts. Should we do nothing then?

Sorry we do agree on this i feel that rouge companies should not be able to attend events but I feel policing it is impossible.

If we look at the post by Engineer and use those site as example ( I am not saying they should beable to attend on not)...

but Chipleader has a huge stand and spends a lot of money, cpays also pretty now if these companies stop going that puts the cost up for smaller or new companies which could in turn stop them from attending, this is a real chicken and egg situation and I dont expect companies like the one Alexs works for to lose money due to this.

Paula do you think operators that except US players should be allowed to attend?
