Who is jesper@tradal.dk?

Hello there,

I am sure that I am not the only one to be contacted by Jesper, but I did not find any other post about it here, so here is the story:

About a week ago Jesper (jesper@tradal.dk) contacted me via one of my sites to offer me a program that includes many poker rooms (titan, party, pokerstars, pacific, and other big names, and... pokernordica.). He sent me all CPA's and revenue share details for each of them that he was offering (pretending to offer), etc.. As I have never heard of such program, and by curiosity, I replied that I was interested and asked where I could register.

He sent me a form to file. I replied to say that of course, I will not file this form, please send me the link to your site/affiliate program. And I was also asking the name of the company he works for, etc..

He then sent me a link (tracking link) to the pokernordica affiliate program (here is the tracking link xxxhttp://record.partnernordica.com/_d8b156f0ff45850b241235b26bb2a6ef/ ) and told me he works for them.

I replied to say that the link is only for the pokernordica program, what about all the other rooms he was offering, etc.. He replied that he could not offer the other rooms anymore, telling all sorts of rubbish that makes no sense, etc... that even a beginner would not believe, so big was the spam/scam...

Anyhow, this guy Jesper, use this email address jesper@tradal.dk. if you go to the domain, xxxwww.tradal.dk, you are redirected to the affclub.com affiliate program... (???)

Looking at the WHOIS of the this domain, you do not get much info, nothing about the owner...

I have emailed both pokernordica and Affclub.com, no answer so far. Hopefully someone from their affiliate programs will see this post here...

Meanwhile has anyone heard about this jesper@tradal.dk??

The only thing I found about this email address is an interesting french anti-spam website (http://www.actulab.com/spamons-les-spameurs.php), a list of professionnal spammers - yes jesper@tradal.dk is on the list.

Still it does not explain it all...

How come he uses an email address from a domain that redirects to xxxwww.affclub.com? (from all the sites he was offering in the first place, there isn't any that is in the Affclub affiliate program).

Is pokernordica aware of these methods? (well they definitely are now as i sent them an email....)

I got the same email I will look for it and post it here. I think I to will notify Poker Nordica. He offer me a rev share below the norm for a merg gaming company. I replied telling him I was not interested and if he wants he can purchase an advertising package. Interesting!!!!!!!!

Yes kaus, I knew I was not going to be the only one, and I have the feeling that there will be more replies soon...

Normally I would not have bothered to post about another common spam here, if I had to post about all spams I receive, I would spend my days doing this. But this guy really insisted with his lies, and also at some point asked for specific details, so I think this guy needs to be identified.

Also I visited again this post about anti-spamming on this french website, and I have just realised that this post is actually 3 years old, which means that jesper@tradal.dk is known for being used to spam since 3 years. And as I said, the domain xxxwww.tradal.dk redirects to xxxwww.affclucb.com (you land on this page xxxhttp://secure.affclub.com/index.aspx?ag=9&pr=2611), so too dodgy not to check this guy's activities and at least warn other webmasters about it ( tough his scams are so obvious that it would only work with beginners, or eventually very naive webmasters..).

I hope we can identify him and stop him...

I will send the link of this post to Affclub.com et pokernordica too, perhaps then they will react a bit more lively...

This url xxxxwww.tradal.dk actually redirects to google search. However I do find it amusing that he was offering me 10% less than the standard Poker Nordica

Simple answer on August 6, 2007 exactly 2:13 A.M EST tradal.dk was redirecting to affclub.com. The rule of thumb once tradal or Elliot get "its" hands on something prepare for some very unethical behavior.I would most certainly dump IOG, aff club or whoever they call themselves now. Trust me they do not need your marketing abilities. Just my opinon and in due course they will know what it feels like on the other of the fence.LOLgreek39

Their may have been some confusion in regards to him actually being an official agent, which I can understand as his from email was from another company and also included other poker rooms deals in his email.

There have been some confusion as you said (actually it all to seems to get clearer and clearer..), and you said that you understand... (what do you understand exactly? Do we understand the same??), however your post does not give any explanation at all (like for example why, if jesper works for you, why was he offering Titan Poker, Pacific, pokerstars, etc... Does pokernordica promote the competition? Well I am sure that they will be all happy to learn that...).

Also I sent you an email PERSONNALLY, you never replied (you did not bother should I say, it says it all!), but this post made you react, as I suspected... So thank you for NOT answering my email... still you are here now!

So not only Jesper (here again, magically xxwww.tradal.dk does not redirect to Affclub.com since this post has been started... Explain that as well! I could also put here jesper explanations why he was offering the other rooms first and then not, but no need I think, I am sure everyone here got the picture...) is a proven LONG-TERM spammer ( there again I gave the link in my first post to this french website with a post warning about jesper@tradal.dk from... 2004), but it turns out that he really works for pokernordica, which means that you do not mind to team with people using dodgy methods. Ok, if it is your choice, that's fine. Thanks for leting us know by the way.

At least with this post, I am sure you (when i say YOU, I mean you or people working for you, noone perticularly...) will be more careful from now on. You know now that an email offering firstly all poker rooms/big names, then a few days later actually only pokernordica (once the naive/beginner webmaster is attracted in Jesper (your?) disguised way to signup to YOUR poker room and YOURS ONLY!") can result to a post here, which make all spamming efforts worthless after all .

First I want to say that I think Jesper acted very unprofessional in whatever his actual psoition is within the company(at this moment I am still unsure what that really is)

Second just thought in the air here but this is all speculation and what I have learned throughout the last few months dealing with Merge Gaming

Merge Gamin is owned by teh original Poker.com people or else known these days as Carbon Poker. Poker.com is now an affiliate portal promoting the compeition (again unsure of why but oh well)

For the Poker Nordica AM who cam e in here. Is Poker Nordica in any way shape or form acting as an affiliate and a poker room meaning do you also send players to other rooms such as your license providers?

I have a really hard time understanding this company which is why they have no droppe to the last room I will ever put my efforts into.

Plain and simple answer would be great....do you promote Full Tilt on the back end?

I indeed received that same email from Jesper offering several properties @CPA.

The day after the USGEA kicked in, I then received the email saying Jesper could only offer Pokernordica (I have no clue if there is a connection).

To be honest, I wouldn't deal with either.

I also received a mail from this chap which I did not answer, thank god. But what has disappointed me more is the reaction of Chris Morton from PartnerNordica, almost as unprofessional as the mail from jesper.

Yes, I agree with you (tough I think that "unprofessional" is not the word I would use - the word "dodgy" is more like it...) and more disapointing is that they did not bother to reply to an email I sent them before starting this post... and I knew they would react to a post here, that is why I started it and I thought that if there was really something dodgy going on, then everyone here would know about it at the same time. And their (not very convincing) first answer (well, an answer with no explanation + changing quickly the subject to introduce the "new affiliate team", Jesper included...!!!???), and now no more answer at all, says it all.

Only wish we could totally explore this topic. Give everyone a clear perspective on how this stuff works. But that day will never come dubbed “too sensitive”. Just last week I received some junk from b4playing.com. It wouldn’t have been so bad if only two people new that email address. Not worth perusing I am better off sticking my head in the sand.

This thread had great potential of uncovering some hypocritical and enlighten truths regarding the industry were in. Maybe this mindset is the reason we face the negative sitiuation we all in.

Perhaps Goldfinger from CAP says it best.

I, too have a preference for criticizing programs I don't even promote. The thing is that if you let crappy programs have their way it sets a precedent for all other programs and some of the better ones may start adopting crappy strategies/terms etc.

I completely agree with you greek39 and to be honest, I do not think there is out there one single affiliate program you can trust 100% (either they team themselves with guys like jesper and its methods, or they simply cheat themsleves and the figures of your revenues with them are never what it should really be, and you have no way to find out...), the whole thing is full of cheats and lies and if you intend trying to do your way in it, you just have to be prepared to be cheated and lied all the time, this is just the way it is, there is nothing you can do about it, all you can do is make the most of it, if only possible...

Well they say it all!!

By the way, there is on this site an article about our friends at tradal (oh yes, I forgot, tradal.dk does not redirect to affclub.com anymore, but tradal.net does...), it will give a better idea about our friend Jesper's methods (who is then now part of Pokernordica team apparently...??? You are right greek39, this thread, but any similar thread, could have a great potential. Of course we cannot win, but ... we can try just to make it a little bit better!
