Spain & Argentina are my choices, with Uruguay my outsider shot.

That may be precisely the reason why Germany is on place 2 of FIFA world ranking behind Spain!

    207 countries listed: http://www.fifa.com/worldranking/rankingtable/

And the reason why Germany is on place 2 of FIFA World Cup All-time-rankings!!!

    (behind Brazil)

I think he was referring to the fact that Germany IS #2 but can't win anything in the last 18 years. Last World Cup victory is from 1990, last Euro victory from 1996.

In this decade Germany reached the semifinals five times, lost three, and lost two finals.

I wouldn't go as far as calling them chokers, but they're definitely not living up to their potential lately.

Those FIFA rankings are laughable and mean nothing, when we were knocked out of the last World Cup when we were truly terrible we went up to the 4 best ranked team in the World lol

I actually believe the German National team over achieved in the late 90's and during the 2000's when the national league got overshadowed by the English, Spanish and Italian leagues

"In this decade Germany reached the semifinals five times, lost three, and lost two finals."

And how many countries have reached that?

Countries from Eastern Europe are fully insignificant, and England's lowest level yellow press every 2 years, when a championship in Europe or World Cup starts, publish their World War II crap and tries to insult our Country instead of helping their team to optimize scrappy football. Examples from 2010?

"Get ready for Germ warfare!" (The Sun)

How sick parts of England press is, you can see in this screenshot:

Yes, you have no eye-defect! The little picture is Adolf Hitler! The "Daily Star" must be very sick!

Moreover: So called "fans" from England are singing songs like "Two World Wars and One World Cup" and other crap.

But every time after England's awkward yellow press escalations and singing moron songs Germany gave England the sporty answer on the field.

Did you forget, how England and Argentina get played off the park by Germany 4 years ago?

It is not a coincidence that USA team hired German legends Jürgen Klinsmann and Berti Vogts. It will be a nice game on June 26th.
A pity, that USA probably will not come to the final. USA sports in general is known for fair play.

If Germany will be knocked out of the competition, my wishes goes to Portugal. They really have earned a title now. Portugal fans and newspapers are enthusiastic as all other nations but always fair and don't get randy with things, that have nothing to do with sports and happened 70 years ago.

Germany have won a lot of titles but, that's more important, we won the hearts of millions of people worldwide with our World Cup Summer's Tale 2006.

And the good news and result of real football spirit is, that nobody with a good heart accept players like this Croatia one:

    http://m.gulfnews.com/sport/football...hant-1.1332085

I hope, Brazil will be a fantastic festival without racism, discrimination and violence! That's the most important thing! Look at the fans from Netherlands or Brazil. A great party 90+ minutes.

Just because some dutch fans dress up and dance around doesn't mean they wont have fans that want to cause trouble, their club teams have pulled some big firms for british clubs this season in europe

Club teams are no national football teams (!) and sottishly, uneducated complete morons you will find in or around many European (club team) football stadiums!

So called "fans", who are singing crap like "2 world wars and 1 world cup" every 2 years before championships directed to Germany and people working at England's yellow press writing articles like the one with the screenshot if you scroll up ... yes, that are complete morons for me too!

If you look carefully ... I am writing it now the 2nd time (!) ... so called "fans". There is a difference between true fans, who want to watch an exciting game and those, that are only so called "fans".

TRUE (better now for understanding?) ... I repeat: True fans from England are the best singers worldwide. That's your special characteristic, but your yellow press and 2 World Wars blablabla singing morons destroys every 2 years my wonderful feelings in hearing the amazing voices from a championship stadium.

I have never heard about hooligans from Netherlands in a FIFA World Cup stadium. Maybe I am wrong, and you can give me a source for it.

Im not getting into an arguement on here about it, but I know for a FACT firms of dutch have been in grounds before at world cups, along with almost every other european country that has ever flirted with the casual scene, dutch, danish, swedes, germans, english, welsh (qualifying games), one that will surprise, the scots, italians (or though that is a different being ultras) and now the eastern europeans are creating their own brand of hooliganism

here you can see the colourful and friendly dutch fans fighting in the fanzone square at euro 2008 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uGSYKJIshIE

also a little story about german hooligans at france 98 http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/sport/football/117358.stm

I'm starting to worry. Do you want to sit with an angry face in front of your TV during World Cup every match or with a smile on your face? Please write 10 nice words into this thread donated to any other country than your homeland, because the dark side of Football, the hooligans are not Football at all and only a small group of complete morons is dominating it. If you have a problem with hooligans, then you are not alone.

If a body count discussion starts, then you must also write, that e.g. in February 2012 in Cairo 70 people died because of trouble during a football match. And that's only one example. Worldwide you can find football hooligans!

    WORLDWIDE!

    For a good balance...

Please ... Write 10 nice words into this thread about fans from another country then yours and you feel better.

    Hopefully.

    Examples from me:

"If Germany will be knocked out of the competition, my wishes goes to Portugal. They really have earned a title now."

"True fans from England are the best singers worldwide. That's your special characteristic"

"Look at the fans from Netherlands or Brazil. A great party 90+ minutes.
    "

Your videos ... I can show you a lot of shocking material about hooligans from England. But I don't do, because it's nonsense, because ... Cairo ... WORLDWIDE ... are Hooligans from X more worst then those from Y?

No! A moron is a moron, wherever he lives.

you bought English fans into it before anyone mentioned them

i'll watch every game and enjoy the games, you must read too much into a lot of stuff if you think i'll sit angry. you clearly missed the point altogether

YOU brought up england fans singing nasty songs up then said what brilliant fans the dutch are, so I highlighted they can be just as bad as us English. You clearly don't get it.

Personally, if England dont win I would want a massive outsider for work purposes only and I wont be writing nice things about any other country because you told me to lol

If tickets were £12 a pop in England, I'd blow the trumpet in any weather too

You cannot generalise on fans, each club / country will have bad apples amongst the orchard (English or German).
