Germany still having the best squad than any other team,,, a good combination of forwards and defenders,,, with full of experienced veterans,, like past 3 world cups,,, but still they lack concentration against the big names like spain, italy etc and this time in america its going to be really tough for them to handle the heaT.

No other country than England is using things that have nothing to do with sports in such a big manner every World Cup. Countries e.g. in North- , Central- or South America would never have those sick ideas. You have said not a single word against this, and I make notice about that.

For you hooligans from the Netherlands are obviously much more worst than hooligans from other European countries, Cairo or Antartica, what is utter nonsense. The Netherlands are our neighbor country, and populations and football fans have absolutely no problem to each other. The times are over. We respect each other. The young people celebrating TOGETHER in both countries the games between Germany and the Netherlands.

I have always thought Germany has had the best chances to win the world cup, at least in the last 2 tournaments. Their core is still the same and I think they are a bit more experienced than before. The only thing that worries me is that they lack a dominant forward, Klose is too old and they didn't call Gomez so im not sure who their starting forward is going to be. Does anybody know who has the best chance of having that starting position?

Anyways, my pick is Germany. If not then I think Argentina might get it even though im hoping they dont because I dont like Messi at all. (Real Madrid fan)

It just won't work guys, you can have all the infrastructure in the world but to win the cup you need to actually have talent for the sport.

And as far as I can see, David Silva, Luis Suarez, Arjen Robben, Edin Džeko, Franck Ribery, Mario Mandžukić and the others all seem to be playing for other nations. With English and German players serving as paid labour to deliver the ball to them.

Well since they can't have Mandžukić or Lewandowski, and the Polish guy Klose is a bit old, they need to see what the backup options are.

They can use Kevin Volland, a talented youngster who's not capable of playing as a solo striker IMO, or Thomas Muller. I'd say Muller would be the first choice. After all, he's the 11th top scorer in Bundesliga.

He puts defenders to midfield as well as attackers to midfield etc. I think a team from south america will win the cup. Brazil or Argentina. Maybe Chile

Yeah I guess you are right. I guess this comes down to who has the easiest path to the final.

I dont think Brazil has the quality to win the world cup, they'll get far into the tournament but I just dont see them winning it, even though they have home field advantage.

Then Chile, if they make it past the first round (against Spain and Holland) then they will probably meet with Brazil in the Last 16, so who knows...

Argentina has an easy group stage and I think they could probably get to the finals pretty easily, that is if they dont choke in the process.

I think it will be Germany vs Brazil finals...and Brazil will win...but how far do you think Belgium may go this time? There are some hot young talents in that team this year...they may surprise a few?

I don't think Belgium will go far, they don't have character. Hazard is no Scifo. The kid is a huge disappointment to me and a waste of talent.

I'm disappointed that Oz is in such a hard group this time around. I don't think they have a chance to go through. I can only hope for a miracle.

My first thought was Germany to win, but that is not based on anything really. Just a feeling.
