Yep we need a miracle Renee hahah
For Australia to beat Chile which is the 3rd ranked team in the group, the odds are around 7.80
Hopefully can pull off an upset and then get 2 draws in the other 2 matches and sneak thru![]()

Fingers crossed! Will you be watching the games anywhere? Or just at home?
Thanks!!
They have to beat Chile, Netherlands AND Spain... which is why I think they have no chance, especially since they just drew with South Africa last week in the pre world cup match. I really hope they bring out something spectacular to blow everyone away at the world cup. Surprises are always nice!

They just need 2 wins to advance and that is a tough group.
Hoping for Germany but most of my co-workers here at IA have their money on Brazil since they're hosting. We've also got a few hopeful for Columbia!
I would go for Brazil but the match performance of germany yesterday against portugal was amazing so I think Brazil or Germany.
My 5 cents.
Spain can't be ruled out. Netherlands delivered a great performance but can they repeat it? Chile are a paper tiger.
France can't score, and without Ribery they're gone when they meet a strong team.
Brazil should improve now when the pressure is gone.
African teams can't attack, none of them will qualify for the knockout stage. Go home and let the normal teams play.
USA are in for a surprise when they meet a decent team.
England won't do anything until they get a coach with balls. Can't play on the back foot. You got ROONEY in the team, for God's sake!
Croatia are also on the back foot.
Colombia would be a dark horse if they had Falcao. But he's not here.
Argentina won't go far, there's just too little talent in the team.
Uruguay are a joke, people didn't know they're defending with 8 players and attacking with 2. Everyone knows that now.
Germany have won against Portugal 4 times in a row. Waiting for them to beat a top team for years now. They've had their share of 4-0 or even 8-0 fantastic victories in the group stage, but haven't won a single one of these World Cups.
So far I was amazed by the performance of Costa Rica, it was brilliant, but the best overall game was played by Italy. The Netherlands are #3.
Brazil, Germany, Spain and Italy are my candidates for the title. Argentina, England, France and Uruguay are not. Netherlands could go far but the other coaches aren't idiots and Van Gaal's surprising style will be less and less surprising as the tournament progresses.

I am very sorry, thebookiesoffers.
Rooney is really the most unlucky guy I have ever seen in the last decade of FIFA World Cup and European Football Championship. He missed every 50:50 chance (e.g. goal posts and crossbar). It's like the roulette ball was hitting black 20 times in a row. It's no inability. It's a matter of luck, and without a little portion of luck you can't win a championship.

My money is on Germany although there are some teams who are really giving it a good shot.

After the first games Brazil, Chile or France for me![]()

More often than not - from what I've seen of Neymar, he has produced in the (relavitely) "easier" games but he tends to disappear in bigger matches and against "tougher" opposition.
In Liga, he had 1 goal against Real Madrid. Scoreless against Athetico (though he did score in the Champions League against them). He was silenced in the Copa del Rey. He failed to produce against Mexico where his productivity was needed far more than it was in his two goal performances against Croatia and Cameroon.
I'm not saying that he is not capable of being a big time player - but in my opinion, his worth is more visible in the marketing department than in the Starting XI.
