My NGO research team "Zoo+" right now investigating wide-spreaded rumors, that even the best people in this industry have better chances to win an IGB award if there is a booth of their program at that conferences.

This would be more evidence for claims, the awards are corrupt.

Moreover: This "Booth bonus" would also be a slap into the face of the best people, because they do not only win because of their fantastic skills. They more likely win in a coin flip decision, when their program pays for a booth.

I refuse to. If it makes you feel better, affiliate managers usually come sit with me during breakfast when I'm alone, which means they aren't there looking for affiliates

Breakfast is a time for refueling and contemplating why you shouldn't have had that last G&T and stayed for just "one more", not business. I don't function well without food and an old boss taught me to never book a meeting before 12 noon.

And Martyn, i always settle my first meetings starting from 13:00. You never know what happens the day before with the crazy dudes from the industry.

I used to like London when we stayed at the Grange St Pauls as you could walk to the venue along the Thames plus grab a bite to eat on the way. The perfect (almost) way to clear any cobwebs from the night before.

Hi!

We aren't running a coach service this year at LAC. Last year we cut it down to just the one day as people weren't using them and it still wasn't very busy. The DLR is connected to the venue so everyone just jumps straight on that, it's around 15 minutes to Tower Gateway DLR station, and a 5 minute walk to the hotel from there. Definitely quicker than London traffic!

What's the dress code? a couple i have been to were suit and tie both for mornings and evenings.. little extreme espcially with the blisters after walking around for 12 hours in new shoes, Suit's are great if you work in a bank or for certain occasions but to visit stands for online gaming?

Last year I didn't wear a suit. Casual is ok. I saw nobody in a bermuda - like happens in Amsterdam - or something, but it isn't the weather for that neither.

Smart/Casual all the way. Some do wear suits but most in jeans or pants and a shirt, some in jeans and tshirt. But, I'd say whatever you feel most comfortable in.

Shorts in London in February, I thought only Australian's did that! You may be comfortable but you will have quite a cold draft!
