Also what if I test the robot.txt in search console and it returned as accepted? Can it still mean that it could have hindered my homepage from ranking? I also want to add that I currently rank well for the same keywords on Bing, but not Google. So this is a mystery.

If it is accepted then it is not robots.txt problem. Unless you play with robots.txt the code blocking the homepage can not appear there from a thin air. Someone must write it there.

I see no mystery, just bad seo. Other search engines are more tolerant and SERPs are more spammy at Bing.

Yes except for the particular country and keywords that my site targets, Bing returns the same search result as Google. And ironically, the same sites that currently rank for the top 3 positions on Google are below me on Bing.

There are so many tools for finding keyword ranking on google.. Google rank checker is the best tool for finding keyword rank.. this tool give you accurate result
