I heard about the new search engine being released that was supposed to rival Google - I'll believe it when I see it.

Haven't tried it so far, whats the URL?

I tried it and all that came up were 20 poker sites, no matter what search term I used... they don't even have my site indexed yet. I guess it will be a while before google needs to worry!

I agree but I certainly think this will bring some competition, and I am glad I want to see a bit of competition google need some competition.

I tried it, I think they need to work on it, I don't think google needs to worry about them.

I did a search using 'online gambling' and got around 21,000 results (google : 32 million). It will definitely take some time before they can compete with google. But I remember how people used to laugh about Wikipedia a few years ago. Now even lexicon experts agree that Wikipedia is at least as good as the Britannica.

I did a search for Poker Forums

Wiki found 3

Google found 2,150,000

Nope, don't think google has anything to worry about. Not for quite a while, if ever.

Does anyone know how it works?

Does it get its results from another engine, or do we have to submit sitemaps etc? Or do we have to start 'wikis'? Anyone done this yet?
