Well, I cant at this time release my real production blogs, but i can give you other nice ones to see. Not trying to be a jerk, but they still pay me and would hate to have someone cut me off off earnings for whateer reasons..

    Look at

    Code:
    technicnews.com
he did a great job, he based his off of

    Code:
     techchuck.com
technic news makes about 7 bucks a day, but is under 30 days old. techchuck, dont know the guy but his traffic looks good.

You would be shocked how many sites make good money fast. The one i showed before was just one throiwn togther, I do not market it, but note how many links I have..is amazing what rss, social bookmarking alone, bring in...I also did some refferer traffic on that oen for fun, and some might consider that spam, but those are things you need to look at. again, many fine lines between SEO white/black/grey techniques. I have my lines and others have those.

Again is a numbers game. I have had 2 sites do SICK over last coupel years, just i noted i cna set up new sites fatser then optimizing others, plus they do take time...My method was

    1. find niche
    2. build site
    3. set up some quickie rss, links etc
    4. let the content add links by itself ( with the ways above)
    5 go to next project

I created in some days 5 blogs/sites. I also did NOT include in here the way I link them, but that might be another thread, but if you have some undertstanding of graph theory, Matt Cutts has spoke about this here and there, and NONE of my mini nets /hubs have ever has issues. BUT my linking strat has never been published here. If intrested I cna start a new thread in SEo section and get some feedback from scubaguy..

we've been using wordpress as our landing page for our affiliate sites. It is simple, easy to use and plugins and widgets are just a click away. Turn key sites from wordpress are number one in making money online today.

I finally came around and discovered WP a few weeks back. I always knew it was a powerful platform but took me a little to figure out the best way to use it. I started with one site and decided to redesign my betting site (my first love) and try my hand at WP. I am hooked.

You can customize your site so much with WP. I added a link directory and forum among other things. This is a brand new site.

I will have to re-read your post a few times and see what I should work on. I already have most of those plugins.

Jack, thanks for the post. Very insightful! Any suggestions you have running a WP site, I am all ears.

If you want unique traffic without the RSS, you need to checkout FreeTrafficSystem.com (my affiliate link, but it doesn't pay in cash. It posts my articles on more sites).

I use this for another site. I really suggest this for nongambling sites. I seemed to get off topic posts. But I get only health and wellness articles for my fitness blog. I have been meaning to contact them about the nonrelated posts being published on my site.

Instead of Adsense on Gambling sites, I use Bidvertiser instead. It is a great AdSense alternative. They actually have a Gambling category and pay better than AdSense. You can use them for any site. I actually prefer them over AdSense.

I would appreciate if you use my referral link to check them out and register: http://www.bidvertiser.com/bdv/bidvertiser/bdv_ref_publisher.dbm?Ref_Option=pub&Ref_PID=27336

    Enjoy!

    Hi CasinoJack,

great post, just managed to solve most of my things on my newly created site

www.casino-guide.se and hope to start building some traffic. Tried sending you a PM, and it looked like it was sent, but then in the send outbox it says 0, strange.

But I was wondering if there is a way to make a wordpress site in 2 languages in any way?

Thanks for all the great pointers here... a lot of hard work ahead. And if you could PM a few sites where you can upload articles it would be great as well.

    Thanks

I noticed this was orignally posted back in April - the sample site you had mentioned is no longer live. Are you still active in this CasinoJack?

Thanks for the tip with the translator service. If I can get it to work it can hopefully do wonders

It seems that my hosting company run their servers in safe mode, and I can not change that.

So now I get this error:
Unable to complete Global Translator initialization. Please manually create and make readable and writeable the following directory:

    /hsphere/local/home/xxxxx/casino-guide.se/wp-content/gt-cache

Managed to make the folder, but cant make it readable/writeable in my ftp program, just get a error saying: 550 gt-cache: Operation not permitted

    Any way around it?

I think Word Press is not taking it gently to use its service for making Casino Blogs. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

You are wrong. Wordpress is an open source application and you can do what ever you wish to do with it.

You're absolutely right by saying that Wordpress is a open source platform. But two month ago one of my blog on online casino got banned for no reason. I had posted 5 posts in that blog. But one fine morning I was able to login but not able to update posts. I mailed to their service-centre...But the next thing that happened was Banning of my entire blog...

Has anyone faced the same problem?

I think most in this thread are talking about hosting their own Wordpress installation on their host - there is no problem with that. Using Wordpress's own 'free blog host' thing is different (and one would need to comply with their T&C which may or may not preclude gambling blogs - I don't know)
