Germany didn't impress very much and lost against Austria, 2-1. Although, it doesn't say very much. The Germans are a team that know how to play a tournament.

Belgium didn't impress at all neither against a Portugal without CR7 0-0. Problems are the same as the last 5 years. Great names, world class players, but no team, no organization, no strategy, no mentality and a crappy coach.

So far Messi didn't shine when it's really important. Have to see what it will be with Argentina. That can be literally everything, from not even surviving the group to reaching the finals.

True, but they didn't get any better since. Actually, they are less good. I mean compared to Brazil, Spain - they have 3 good players. Mascherano, Otamendi and this other fellow. The rest is either not good enough or not stable enough. Doubt that's enough.

I mean i can see them progress with 1:0 results, but also suddenly swept 4:0 by Spain, Germany

I agree with you, but they're tough and are having loads of experience. Last edition they had a relatively easy path and without impressing too much, they were suddenly in the final. Same thing as in 1990.

Could happen this year too.
