    Default World events affect Forex

With todays recent massive quake off Japan my question is what affect do we expect to see in the Currency market. A fall of the Yen, and strength grown stronger in the Euro?

What are your thoughts on this?

I agree that we must all be on the side of Japan and every effort must be made by the world community to bring some kind of solution to this problem.

The reason this post was done in the forex part of the GPWA forum was asking what affect this will have on the world currencies and affiliates involved in the forex sector.

I believe the Yen will recover quicker than people think with gold going to an all time high of 1600

Japan is a pretty big economy such that all this didnt have that much of an adverse effect. They have already recovered from this and seem to be regaining their place in the sun. Must say though, it was a really tough time for them
