World Population Close to 7 Billion

Overpopulation is one of makinds biggest threats. Not only will we not be able to produce enough food. And imagine the enviromental challanges mother earth will face if if every person on earth should have the same living standards as people in developed countries. I think that says something on all of us and the rate we consume.

Unfortunately how many of us would be ready to abandon the comforts we take for granted for the better good of humanity?

Australia gives out a "baby bonus" to people who have a child because a few years back the population was heading backwards. People here are having children much later in life, way over their 30s. Our country is almost the same size as the US and we only have 22 million people.. Plenty of land to share over here!

Baby Bonus... that sound nice. Is it like a one time bonus or do the parents get regular sums for a certain period?

They get about 3-4k when the baby is born.

Unfortunately many people decide to have kids for the money, then spend it on a plasma tv. It's usually the parents on welfare that do this..

Obviously the money is supposed to be used to by baby stuff.
