I am not sure if the legislation will be good or bad for affiliates, but I am sure it will be good for the US government.

    Hi Lots0,

I got your message about the land casinos and I totally agree that they will also benefit from it.

Regulation in the US is only going to help affiliates, if those brands who get US licenses, allow affiliates and are affiliate friendly.

Is it going to be a case of "Hey there's 5 casinos where US players can play online. Lets do all the TV, radio, online media buying we can to attract players, and not involved affiliates"

or is it going to be a case of "Low Revenue Share for affiliates to promote us, while we do all the TV, radio and online media buying"
The reason I say low revenue share, is because a business would keep %'s low, if the guy next door is not increasing his revenue share.

And when the US legalises it, will other countries follow a similar model, and will those countries require gaming brands to get licenses with them too. I

I believe that anyone working on a revenue share deal will need a gaming license from the state/states where the online operator is licensed. I think this additional requirement will limit affiliates and tend to favor the largest players.

With all the States and the Feds excluding ANYONE that has worked in US online gambling(after the UGIEA)... Existing Affiliates that focused on the US market are going to be legally cut out of the US market...
