    Default WPT going to Italy

    For the first time ever, the World Poker Tour is hosting an event in Italy.

    The Main Event of WPT Venice will begin on May 6 and conclude May 10. The WPT has partnered with European gaming giant Bwin.

    As reported by CardPlayer:

    “We’re thrilled to launch our first ever brick-and-mortar WPT tournament offering in Italy,” said WPT CEO Steve Lipscomb. “Bwin is a strong partner with the right market position in the region. We look forward to working with them to bring this event and the WPT brand to poker players in Italy and Europe.”

    I think this will be very interesting to see how the Italians take the WPT, they seem to love the WSOP I know that this not so big but still it will be good to see the up take.
