I find their headline interesting considering that online gaming would probably be dead without European markets.
Unable to read the article as it's protected behind a login - do they mention the United States domestic market protectionism or the recent changes in Canada?

If you access the story through Google News, it lets you behind the paywall (yes, it's a porous paywall). The story is framed around new taxes and regulations in Europe making online gaming more expensive and less profitable for operators, and the potential mergers/acquisitions the new business environment has sparked. It doesn't get into the U.S. or Canada. It's written from strictly a European point of view.

Ha - too easy - but not at all what I was doing - I was looking for some sort of Google news section
I was ignoring that link as I'd been there and it had already denied me.
So for those of us who were not aware ...
1/ Go to google
2/ Copy / Paste in the URL exactly into the search box - not as a URL in the address box
3/ Click on the GOOGLE link on the first choice provided
And WSJ lets you in because you've come via Google.

Sorry Gooner. I should have been more specific. I did it slightly differently. I went to news.google.com and searched for Wall Street Journal and online gaming. The story was the first result and it let me in because I was coming in via Google.
