WSOP's $10,000 Main Event draws 6,352 players
That may sound like a lot of players, but it's a drop of 246 players, or 3.7 percent from last year. And it's down nearly 1,000 players or 13.2 percent from pre-Black Friday. Every Main Event has seen lower numbers since 2010. The winner will get $8.3 million, down from $8.5 million last year.
Will participation continue to slowly decline? Or will numbers go back up next year?
