    Lightbulb Unfortunately...

Yahoo Directory does not have any positive effect on your SEO and traffic (similar to DMOZ) . Instead i recommend you to apply for Bing Webmaster Tools (Like Google) if you did not apply it before.

I wasn't aware of Bing having a directory? Pretty sure casinorecommender was talking about Bings version of GWT, although if I'm honest I'm not sure why.

I submitted because of the SEO benefits, not the traffic.

Please let me clarify. Did you believe there was an increase in traffic due to the SEO benefit? I appreciate is is difficult to quantify these things but interested in your opinion nonetheless.

    thanks

I really can't say. Since I've done several seo activities, it's hard (or even impossible) to pinpoint the results of one particular activity. Like I mentioned before in this thread: I wouldn't spend my last dollar on it.

Anyone here ever pay with Pay PAL for BOTW listings. I really want about 10 of them but refuse to use a credit card online..

I know some people also sell as affiliates for BOTW - perhaps they know..?

    Anyone?

It IS NOT a paid link. you pay for the submission review, not for the link

I paid for a BOTW one-time submission this year. Its so expensive now, it cost about $400 from memory. I'm not sure if its worth the price, even though its a permanent link from a reputable and old directory. It might be worth doing for one site, otherwise you will probably go broke trying it with multiple sites lol

Yahoo runs some specific policies. But I heard that Yahoo allows gambling sites in the UK version I've come to know from several articles. But this feature no longer in the U.S.

Why bother submitting your site when you get the $299.99 non refundable notification in the first place?

who was able to get listed in DMOZ and how?

Its different thing to do the directory with yahoo. I think either way its not worth their huge fees every year just for one link, your better off using that money for articles and other permanent link and there are so many advantages of it.

Yahoo generally does these things, but then also there many other good directories which easily accept the sites which deal in casinos and betting.
