    Actually, Google goes far far beyond the realm of just the search industry. Look at their expanded section of tools. You can find everything from mapping, image editting, news feeds, chat programs... almost anything AND they have extensive APIs for coders to tap into most of it! Definitely Google is becoming a leader in many different fields.
