Ok... I keep getting complaints about "pop-ups" on my site for this stupid ass mini-spy camera. I know that I'm not serving any pops on my site... NONE... it's my policy... Yet, when I look through my site, I'll be damned if they aren't there.

I host with Yahoo, and getting them to answer an email is like trying to get an audience with the Pope.

So I run LavaSoft & SpyBot to clean my computer, open my browser in Yahoo, go to my site, and BAM... POP-UP. I run LavaSoft & SpyBot again and the only thing there is a DataMiner Cookie.

What the hell... Is there anyway to stop YAHOO and there Preditory Advertising... short of getting a new host?

I visited your site and sure enough, Web cam pop up. I currently use Godaddy hosting. They have a great service and 24/7 customer service via phone or email. Justin.

Integrity I visited your site and didnt get a webcam pop up - which means either two things - one you sorted it or two their geo targetting doesnt include the UK.

Either way I would be inclined to switch host - if my host put popups on my site I would be seriously p*ssed

Rest assured, I AM seriously pissed. The only reason I haven't exploded into a murderous rage is that the pop's are not gambling related... but I'm sure that's next.

Thanks for the heads up on Godaddy. I need a host who I can pick-up the phone and call. My problem is I'm not good at code, and Yahoo Pagebuilder enabled me to learn a lot and do a lot I wouldn't have been able to otherwise. I guess it's time I grow-up! :LOL:

Yep.. I just got the free ninja scanning camera mount addy
when visiting your site. If you pay for hosting through them,
then they need to provide you with a refund. It's ridiculous.

For the money, they offer the best service and support.
No advertising pop-ups, and the up time is at least 99.9%.
I have used them since I first started my site and would not even consider changing.
They are great!

I changed host about a month ago and couldn't be happier. I have used godaddy, avahost, ect, ect and my new host is by far the best (xhttp://www.v7inc.com). The owner also runs a large seo forum and has I thread dedicated to his hosting site. The service has been great, instant, and excellent. I have also noticed that my site uploads quite a bit faster with there service. Bottom line best host ever but not the cheapest. I think I am paying $20 or $29 a month, can't remember but it is well worth it. Also they have a great cpanel.
