Are you going to block casino players from France?
The new online gaming law in France will take place the next weeks, with poker and betting online being legalised while casino games being illegal. Operators need to obtain a licence, which is what all big names are currently doing as they all seem to have applied, including 770. The situation for affiliates is NOT clear (that's the least to say) because acf-webmaster (and most programmes in this situation) is not communicating at all with their affiliates to talk about 770 plans. And these plans are simple: in order to operate online poker and betting in france, you need to get the licence, using a site with a french domain .fr and block all players to play casino games. So since 770 has apllied for a licence and is most likely to get it, it looks like all of us, affiliates, we are going to be loosing all casino players from France (and also apparently all old accounts will be close for poker and betting, people will have to open a new one). This situation would be acceptable if affiliate programmes where somehow communicating and warn us that it can (will...) happen, so that we can take actions and replace these programmes by others that will accept french players. Why no communication at all and no real answer when I am contacting acf-webmaster? You know what your plans are... Is it because you want to use these affiliates until the last second? And what happen to our future losses with all existing players we are going to loose? Any compensantion in view since you do not fullfil your part of the contract regarding "players for life"?? I would appreciate to get a clear explanation of the situation. Thanks.

The ACF Group closely follows the setting up of and changes to legislations at European level as well as at national level and is committed to respecting the objectives put in place by the relevant country for the Group’s market.
So far, no licence has been issued in France. We will keep you informed about any progress to the situation: in fact, our affiliates are very important to us and we will always examine the best solutions to help you get through this transition.
Thank you for your understanding,
The ACF Team
