Default Zynga to focus on social gambling, not "hardcore gamblers"

Interesting story about Zynga from CNET. CEO Mark Pincus recently said his company won't be focused on "hard core gamblers" when it launches real-money online gambling in the U.K. later this year.

Instead of aiming for serious gamblers, Pincus said Zynga wants to introduce real-money gaming to a mass market in the same way it introduced social gaming to the general public.

"We're not the company to win the hardcore real-money gamers," he said. "But we think we are for the mass market audience."

They don't want to "Win" hard core gamblers(might look 'tacky' to social media types), they want to CREATE their own Hard Core Gamblers...

I don't think they will have much of a choice really to begin with, the soft core gamblers are their target market
