All 22 casinos in rewards player emails and links to CR website

I'm starting to get tired of these posts. You are still promoting us very heavily on your site and a month or two ago had your BIGGEST MONTH EVER with Rewards Affiliates.

Why are you still promoting us? Because you're making good money and a lot of it is from old players (who you say we are stealing from you).

And yes, you are going to now post saying you haven't worked on the site etc and that's why you haven't removed us, but it's a very convenient story that I do not buy into. At least everyone is aware that you do not follow your own advice when they read this thread and any other thread you start, because I will continue to let people know when you continue to bang on about something that has been discussed to its death.

Now to your post that contains no research whatsoever.

You can all test this too..
I want you to do this.

Go to Golden Tiger by clicking your OWN referral link. For shits and giggles, here is one that is not linked to any account you can try to test, which is what I tested with:

When you get to the site, scroll to the bottom and check the Affiliate ID. You should see the ID you tested with.

Hover over the link for Golden Tiger. You will see in the status bar there is no affiliate ID attached, which means that by clicking on it, whatever aff ID is already cookied for that site will remain. If the player had already clicked through to that site via an affiliate or some other means, they will get credit EVEN THOUGH THEY NEVER CONVERTED THE PLAYER when the player clicked through originally.

The cookie tracking on the RA brands are tagged to last referrer to each individual casino. We have and will continue to maintain that this is the fairest policy for affiliates.

Other groups that tag to first referrer do this ON THEIR BACKEND after the player has registered because it is not safe to share cookies across different domains. The user would be prompted with virus alerts and it would be possible for injection attacks, which is why it is not and will not be done.

On another note, because of the percentage of players affiliates bring in compared to the overall numbers, the probability that a player that came through your link who chats on live chat and actually clicks on the link then clicks through to a casino that they did not visit through you and then rather open an account there and start playing (when they obviously contacted live chat about the account they opened already) is so unlikely that it is almost an impossibility.

The player should be tagged to me since I was the last affy to send them.

In reality, the player could actually go back to the casino the following day as a type-in, (and end up in chat on the second day) but should actually be cookied with my tag.

To be honest, if this is what is happening....sounds good to me....

Yes, if the other page sends them directly to the same casino site (i.e. there is no tag on the other site, as per the example above), that is exactly what is happening. If the other page they were sent to had a tag, it would be overwritten on the casino site when the player visited, since it was the last referring tag.

So to be clear, unless another tag is used in between, your tag will still be there and you'll get credit for the player even though they did not register as a result of getting there through your tag.

there are multiple situations to think of (again):

1. If I refer a player to eg Villento Casino and the player has a question about the bonus etc and asks live support and has to wait and clicks on the PR news link and then on Golden Tiger and finds it more appealing I have lost the player.
2. Existing players referred by affiliates with just 1 account that formerly were under VegasAff / Playshare etc can now be cross promoted with no costs to Rewards Affiliates.

You are doing everything to divert traffic to ANY of your casinos and it does not matter how because you stick to the latest referrer rule anyway but with so many casinos that rule has been in advatage of Rewards Affiliates more than ever before.

In other words :

1. we basically pay for your PR news stuff and continue to suffer from it.
2. many referred players by affiliates are exposed to your inhouse and aggressive marketing campaigns to maximize YOUR player returns.

I get angry if I refer a hobby player and can not do anything to prevent him/her being exposed to your marketing campaings. IMO many open a new account at another casino and continue to play there, if they do not I am lucky.


In other words a player for life means a player will be subject to Casino Rewards promotions for life, referred by affiliates or not.

If you think this is the fairest solution ..... you have not really thought about being us affiliates .....if you would run your own portal you would disagree too I am 100% postive about that......but YOU are not affected but merely seeking for excuses to continue with these sick campaigns.

Yes, I believe you ARE the "messenger".

I explained how the programs who tag to first referrer do that. I've also explained that we do not tag that way, that we tag to last referrer (and why) and you should be technically savvy enough to know that my explanation about not being able to safely share cookies between different domains is legit. If not, please go and research it. I'm not going to continually repeat myself.

Yes, if a player gets to a site where you were not the last referrer, they will not be tagged to you. I have never said this is not the case.

Ofcourse I am promoting CR brands along with Playshare and Vegasafff......but now they are all on CR .... I have to diversify to survive unless you tell me that is not a good idea...

I know very little about casinos and my efforts are with sport betting, but I think the answer is very simple and it's quite common thing!

for e.g. I know (and tell) a lot of terrible things about bwin and Unibet. Did I stop promoting them? No! Why? I got some players in the past and brands do convert (more or less). Secondary reason is that I can't find decent alternatives or ways to drive 'different' traffic. So I feel like in position with no other choice but to continue promotion (but with lesser exposure).

I FEEL that situation is similar with Rewards Affiliates. They do convert and bring money but there are some 'issues'.
I don't remember GCG saying "you should stop promoting Rewards Affiliates NOW!!" or something similar. My perception of his posts is that he shares his experiences by giving WARNINGS to other affiliates. What will others do - it's their own decision.



At the same time, I do accept that GCG can be wrong with some of his claims and it's affiliate manager job to professionally resolve/clarify situation. I can surely understand that such affiliates are pain, but who said life is easy? I believe it's quite unprofessional to publicly vent all the frustration about the situation.

So you promote programs you still don't trust? This is the part that bothers me. If I don't trust a program, the first thing to happen is they are off my sites,

Been working with Rewards for some years now and its just my 2 but I trust them.

I have not accused the affiliate of being mentally unstable as he has me. I have pointed out facts. Nothing that I have said is untrue. Yes, I'm getting tired of this. And yes, I feel that the affiliate only posts to get a rise out of me, because the same thing was posted at another forum a day or two before this one and got no reply, so was posted here because the OP knows I have no obligation to post at the other forum, but if I do not respond here we will lose our sponsorship. The OP is playing on that fact.

Yes and I think I explained why. It bothers me too but I have no other options at the moment.
From my experience people care a lot about sportsbook brand, so I've had zero success with 'unknown' brands. MAYBE whole process is easier with casinos...

I have made it NO secret at all that I promote RA brands, I do because I need to survive.

BUT there is the catch also for you pdjoe (and I am in the same situation as all of you guys):

when it comes to cross promoting when there is no credit to the affiliate (newsletter and promo emails and live chat e.g.) and already referred big / returning players can be wooed away by these campaigns you are stealing our bread and butter without paying for the lead*.

If you earn ok with the program, and think the money is good no problems here than you are telling yourself a fairy tale as the program has been built for maximizing profits for the management not both affiliate and management.

Golan I understand you want to contribute on the forum but this is not an issue about trust, it is about inhouse cross promotions.

This is a vey complicated issue with Rewards Affiliates and I have spent a lot of time in it to investigate and bring it out in the open what issues there are.

There is no fair solution yet regarding their cross promotion, pls do not give us the impression there is.

Please do not treat this as small potatoes cuz it is a lot of real money lost every month that belongs to affiliates.

I found a website with articles on it " freeslotsbonus. com/" .. it has banners and links on it, which when clicked on, take you to Casino Rewards Casinos. This affiliate is trying to take your players. They are marketing. Warning.

In all seriousness, you're making a complaint about a gambling brand, that is Press Releasing the fact they had a 5.2 million dollar winner, and as all good marketeers would do, try and promote their brands.

I gather you could be new to marketing, since what CR just did is marketing.
And you're still marketing a brand you're warning affiliates about.

Effort spent on this thread probably cost everyone a $1000.
