Here's a new one. A guest post I made on a decent site, incl. backlink, has been picked up by another 'media' website in its entirety and re-published (albeit with a reference .... i.e. this article originally appeared in domain.com).
Could this de-value the original backlink?
Mark
I don't think so. It would only affect the re-published version of that backlink.
It will have zero impact mate, this is normal.
I was just reading a similar question on Warrior Forum. Not a lot of consensus though thusfar: https://www.warriorforum.com/search-...seo-value.html
Interesting. So maybe bad for website a, but not for my backlink ... the plot thickens ...

its common for rss readers and news sites to republish, i have never seen anything negative and have had some articles republished 30+ times
Personally I've experienced the same thing a couple of times, but i'm pretty sure it doesn't affect the backlink juice from the original domain.
I think duplicate content does not gives decenties..............
I have had this happen before too. However, I don't think it had any positive effect whatsoever. Penny for your thoughts?Quote:

If there's an effect or not, depends on many factors, but again, no issues for you, it's mainly a problem for the copying and/or copied website :)
I think depend on autority of domain on your guesspost link.
