For the record Sydney, this is the 2nd time (that I've seen) you've taken a code of mine. The first time my awesome rep contacted you to remove it so you are aware that it is not right. Also, please remove the bogart code. It has expired. I've also seen other affiliates exclusive codes on your site. Please don't use these anymore. Thank you.

I did not know that this is an exclusive personal codeQuote:
You didn't answer why you are using my exclusive code?
In many casino codes have specific names and not easy to understand where exclusive where normal
Send me your personal codes, I checked them on the blog and then delete
Bogart code was deleted
I do itQuote:
do your own work
I should not have to contact you everytime I have a code. And what about the other affiliates that also have an exclusive code? Do they have to contact you too? Do you mean you will use them if no one contacts you?Quote:

Usually affiliates receive codes from affiliate programs personally, and don't take them from other affiliates' sites.Quote:

I removed your code, and I will follow that they do not appear

We monitor all the codes for casino, and it is our job
Our idea was originally to work for people, to create convenience for the users
This is just like publishing other sites' freeroll passes... annoying:anger:
Just for general information..
1. Codes should be taken directly from the Casino Site (or official email etc). If they are not on the site, don't use them.
2. If you see a code and are not sure, write your affilate manager and ask.
3. Using unauthorized codes is worst for the player. Many times the code will not work and this makes for angry players - and who can blame them. It affects everyone from other affilates to casino customer service, casino managers and affilate managers.
I would like to send an extra thanks to Renee for taking action and showing that your affiliate account can and will be shut down. It has given weight to this issue.
Good information mojo,
I'd also add that as a forum owner I see it as my responsiblity, when I see a member post a code and state they got it via email or another forum, to reply letting others know that the majority of emailed promotions are for that individual player and not available to everyone.
It's seem that the players like to share codes/promos (which is cool) and may be unaware of the damage it may cause their peers.
I would get inquires from non-elegible players asking why the code they got did not work for them. Sometimes it would help me find out that the code had expired and needed to be re-activated.
It's definately a big problem that needs to be addressed.

I would have thought most codes can be set this way, but the feature may not be used correctly. This is something that I picked up on when I first started at CWC.Quote:

Please give me a break.
Must you come here and insult our intelligence on top of everything else?
Mojo has clearly stated that you have been contacted about this before and if you're smart enough to create a website then you're smart enough to have figured out where you went wrong and yet you obviously chose to do it again.
But that's not the worst of it. The worst is that you then come here and play mr innocent like you don't know what you're doing wrong and then turn around and say things like [quote]Send me your personal codes, I checked them on the blog and then delete
/QUOTE]
Let me make it really easy for you S, since you're having so much trouble. This will work unilaterally so use it for every single code without fail. ... ONLY use codes given to you by affiliate managers or the codes given to you in YOUR affiliate area of that program.
NEVER get codes from somebody else's website.
Really simple Syd. And if your site is about providing codes that are exclusive to other sites ... then take the site down and do something ethical, because that's what I'm getting that your site is about. Searching the web and providing codes that you have no business with ...
but if you're for real and just couldn't figure it out the first couple of times you were contacted about this ... now you know.
1. Only use codes from aff managers or your own codes
2. If in doubt of the above ... simply remember ... NEVER use codes from someone else's web site.
Man if everything were that black and white simple ... you'd never make another mistake the rest of your life.

Though it should be. I think anyone that was able to redeem my code should be under my affiliate account. I don't think it is though.
Here's just ONE of the sites that posted our LRC code with 10 people commenting that it worked for them. This is not with my banner tag mind you.

Not to bad mouth CWC. They're my best affiliate program hands down! :)
So... what's the story morning glory? :)
completely agree and it should be that way at all places if they're going to give special deals to certain affs.Quote:

I personally don't agree with the idea of giving more to one than to the other because it is bad business. Simple enough.
But if a place is going to do it then they should easily be able to credit the affiliate with that player's sign up regardless of where the surfer arrived from. In fact I would think that would be the easiest for the sponsor to ever track would be the players entering specific codes.
If you're not going to credit that affiliate with all the players who signed up and used that specific code ... then to whom would be suggested as the right person to get the credit?
That's a no-brainer to me.
* On a side note since some of the programs are in here and reading this .. if I work with you ... do I need contact and ask for the best possible offer to give my players? I don't feel like I should have to do that but on the other hand if you're giving out special deals then I want one too. :)
I have been waiting to reply to this thread, but here goes:
1. the code should give credit to original affiliate, agree
2. When they took they code in question, does not like he tried to use his link anyways, woops.
3. Yes some of us AM's do special things for affiliates (mojo can I show the page I made for you?)
4. As affiliates, never settle for whats on the site. I never do
Yes of course!Quote:

Canbet codes work like this:
When I create a bonus code, I can specify whether it's for a specific affiliate, or whether it's a general code.
If it's set up for a specific affiliate, the BONUS CODE actually overrides the cookie, and tracks to the affiliate that the code is assigned to. This is done, because some affiliates also promote these codes offline.
If you get one of these, you actually want others to promote it :)
What has happened is very wrong. It should make no difference if it is a code or a slice of content. It seems very obvious that this was done intentionally.
Still, the warning has been made now and any further problems should be dealt with very seriously. :pissed:
