It is a bit pointless question, on how much they earn. It is not super hard work (no maths involved etc), but you have to know how to attract money into company, same as you do with new clients for your website lets say.
I guess that affiliate managers who receive a set salary don't have to worry about what they are going to earn every month, negative balances, T&C changes, search engine algo updates, etc.
But it is interesting to note that while some AMs work very hard to push their brands by sending out frequent newsletters and promotional offers, etc, other AMs work very quietly in the background and hardly ever communicate with the affiliates.
Every aff. manager is having a different tactic or different role. A senior aff. manager who's doing a country or region alone, perhaps will focus on key affiliate accounts, while a Ladbrokes junior with a certain number of accounts under him, will bother every affiliate every week. Also it depends on the brands they're working for. Some brands are selling themselves by good conversion, retention, good T&C's. Other brands need to be pushed, because their product is average or even dodgy, just like their terms & conditions, etc.Quote:

Yeah, that is true case as well. Those young managers, who just look good but know nothing is very bad for a company. I once asked such affiliate if they provide CPA or only rev.share deals.
