It would have been nice to have a private forum for affiliate's and AM's . I really do. I am an affiliate manager who works commission only. the last thing I want to do is upset any affilaite or future affilaites. For me, they and you are my lifeblood. I will suggest to nay forums / unions etc out there to look at both sides. Affiliates can complain to us , but what recourse do we have?

Please note, I did try phone calls and emails first to no avail. I hope I am wrong maybe this is a case of identity theft, and being he responded and email exchanges are going on, is why I changed the post. I had all the info ready and shared it to him right away for him to respond.

I really hope I am wrong, we all need some positive changes in this industry.

greek39 problem for Jack though was he felt he was getting no response from emails and other means of communication.

what would any affiliate manager do when they cannot contact an affiliate when they feel something is amiss

Affilaites come on here and post when they cannot get an answer from a program and therefore affiliate programs should have the same redress.

CasinoJack has already intimated that if he is wrong he will apologise, he has already apologised over the content accusation, so in fact greek39 it is heading towards a positive outcome.

I understand Jack I am pissed at myself not you. I tend to be my worst critic and am very hard myself.

It would be a fantastic to have AM’s exposing some of these rotten affiliates. I would imagine the list would be long and would most certainly have many benefits. I would be all for it!

So no hard feelings put this behind us and move forward.

I would like to think most affiliate managers would come on the forums and ask the community if anyone knows this affiliate and if so to have this person contact them before blasting someone like this. I think that would have definitely been a better first step before making these kind of accusations in a public forum.

Then the affiliate manager could truly say they exhausted all possibilities to contact before associating a particular website with words like fraud, stealing, chargebacks ect... in a thread title.

I am not trying to pick on you CasinoJack, I think you know your well liked at the forums, but I am sure you wish you had handled this a little differently.

I absolutely agree with that, thing is that hindsight is a great gift and maybe CJ could have exhausted more options, my point is that us affiliates could also on occasions heed the very same advice.

Cityguard has changed the thread title and offered private arbitration between the pair so all's well that ends well.

I sure hope no one ever gets mad at me for not being able to reach me by phone - I have gotten so many calls soliciting placement on my sites that I do not answer that phone anymore, nor do I listen to messages on it - ever.

I used to change numbers whenever I got too many repeat calls after I said "no" to someone. Some people appear to need to be told "no" once a week every week. Now I just dedicated the number that appears to be public to these callers and no one can get me there.

I expect to be contacted by email or PM.

Lenny specifically asked to be contacted by email and posted that address here. I think that should be respected, not everyone likes to be called on the phone.

Not to mention that both parties are members here and once Lenny replied could have easily contacted each other through PM if the email failed.

This is a sad thread and i would not have posted or involved myself, other than the fact that

1. CJ has been a diamond to the GAU

2. The word union was mentioned

3. Lenny gave the GAU excellent coverage

Casino Jack made a statement on here - not the best way forward, however, no different to many statements that have been made in the opposite direction. We come to get used to these type of statements and they will never go away. They are generally when someone is at the end of their tether and can think of no other direction to take, no excuse but i am sure we can all remeber a time when we have been there.

In CJ's defence, he is highly unlikely to have not taken the correct steps in the first place.

In Lennys defence, well, we all know that we can miss emails, especially when they seem to come from a gambling program, as many of the thousands do.

So, CJ can carry on how long before he goes public? Lenny of course has to defend himself and would i am sure, have had been happy to discuss at an earlier time had he realised there was an issue.

So we have got to a stage where this is going no where near the right direction, stalemate and upset are involved words.

Confused as to why Lenny has offered to donate to charity?

Hope it gets resolved and there can be a reconciliation of all parties. Certainly not taking any sides as there is no doubt many more parts of this that are not in the public domain.

This is my last thread in this thread. The damage has already been done to my name by the first 150 people who viewed this original thread. it does not matter that the thread has been retitled or changed or whatever the outcome of this is .

To all the programs that had something negative to say in the first few posts, you will never be listed on anyone of my sites that i own now or will own in the future, and i am going to recommend to many of my friends in the industry that they also drop you.

For the phone calls, the number you stated is my voicemail answering, i need it as i get 100 calls a day from programs like you trying to get me to promote them.

Can I make a suggestion.

I know the mods were being helpful changing the thread title but a different title tag should be used IMO. I dont know what others people's sites are like, or Lennys for that matter but I get alot of people to my sites by typing in my domain to google.

If you google his sitename now using the .com this thread shows up...and really thats bad for his personal business. If a visitor stumbles on this thread what are they gonna think? Its basic SEO and the more pages added to this thread and his domain being mentioned the likelyhood that sitelinks will develop under the listing. It will continue to rank for his domain if the title stays the same

Anyway I think something else could be used...as that particular site obv doesnt have duplicate content as CJ accused it of...so it really isnt neccessary to have it as the title of this thread when it could hurt his potential income

Dang it I hate to see threads closed unless absolutely necessary.

Due to the possible long term damage potential this thread has IMO it should be moved to the archive.

The archive threads need admin permissions and therefore would not be indexed.

I respectfully disagree Mojo, i am not an AM and theres not a big difference and it should work that way,

The fact that CJ appears to have been wrong in this instance does not negate that IMO,

but maybe that is for another thread.

I do however agree that the way this thread developed right from the beginning and the bitter end means it serves no prupose to anyone anymore.

Unfair on Lenny most of all, someone i have never met or known in any form but from some of the opinions of respected members on here and the fact that CJ simply has been unable to back his claims up means this is wrong on him and i would have hated this to have happened on me.

If a thread serves no purposes other than to cause unfair harm to someone then it should be archived, dleted whatever.

1. This all started on Sept the 11th, and was a rash decision.

2. I only had the info he had when he signed up so now i did not scout the internet for other info

3. I knew I might take some heat for posting what I did but I take my job seriously when it comes to security and fraud.

4. I do not regret my post as it was very clear. I was happy to change the post the moment he started to email me.

5. I have given him the benefit of doubt but the result of this thread are not what I intended. I did not expect everyone to start "ganging up" on anyone.

6. I have still not shared the particulars of this case, but Lenny knows, he has addressed it, so close this thread if you like. However, He has not NOT addressed many issues regarding the chargeback. I would call the status "In Progress" as Lenny does his own research now.

7. Lenny i would be more then happy to meet you in London to discuss this. Why your size matters and everyone else is trying to instigate anything, I have no idea. I am glad we got a response, as that is all one can expect.

For those who thought it inappropriate for what I did, I guess I cant make everyone happy.

If you have no regrets, then why change the post? I think this has slightly turned into a "them and us" situation and it highlights a few issues with the aff/aff man relationship.

I would agree that the forum is the right place to bring up issues and would also agree that affiliates flame programs all the time. However, when an aff man flames an affiliate (or their site) it is normally directed at one individual, rather than a brand/company. This makes it all the more presonal as we have seen here.

If this sort of approach is used in future then there will be a lot of broken relationships for all those that get involved.
