As per the email sent to you last week, it came to our attention that you have not complied with our Terms and Conditions, specifically section 6.9.12 which states: "you will not directly or indirectly engage in, allow, assist, promote, encourage or benefit from any act or traffic that involves Fraud."

As a result, in accordance with section 8.7 of our Terms and Conditions: "we reserve the right to withhold all amounts due and payable to you under this Agreement if we believe that any Fraud has taken place or is contemplated, which involves you, whether or not the withheld amounts relate to the event in question. If we believe that a Fraud has taken place or is contemplated by any Customer without your knowledge, we will be entitled to withhold any amounts due to you in connection with such Fraud. We will also be entitled, in such events, to set-off from future amounts payable to you any amounts already received by you which can be shown to have been generated by Fraud."

In the same email you were invited to contact us at your earliest convenience should you wish to discuss our decision further.

But since you would like to post to this forum rather than talking directly with us, allow me to clarify the basis of our decision:

We have noticed a pattern of fraudulent activity from the affiliate account known as Amazingbet. Specifically in this instance, only one player account was created through this affiliate account. A single large stake was then placed via Neteller on a football match, resulting in a 2K balance for the affiliate. We have not seen any other genuine traffic since then.

We requested that you contact us to clarify this activity which you did not do. However, as always, you are more than welcome to discuss this decision further with our affiliation department when you feel you have the time to do so.

Please be advised in writing that we suspended your account and are withholding payment due to suspected fraudulent activity as per sections 6.9.12 and 8.7 of our Terms and Conditions policy, which you can view in full here.

As you are aware, through email correspondence between you and your account manager, the first step towards resolving your complaint was for you to send us proof of identification so we could verify your details.

Since you refused to do so, our hands are tied at this point.

Should you wish to discuss this matter with us further, you are always welcome to contact our affiliation department and provide us with the requested documentation.

I've never had issues with payment from Ladbrokes..

They even kindly sent 2 payments that were under threshold

I am unable to make no posts perhaps a broken cookie somewhere so please forgive the hijacking of this post.

I am in disputes with the Ladbrokes Bingo new aff manager. She is telling me I have to put a rather long T&Cs on my review page for the welcome offer underneath the logo which links out to the Ladbrokes website.

As I do not promote welcome offers for Ladbrokes or have banners, I feel that this information would make no sense to my UK customers especially when it shows other currencies and wagering requirements.

Also, this type of information can easily become out of date especially as companies frequently change their offers and we rarely receive notice of the changes.

I do however mention throughout the reviews, my websites T&Cs and disclaimers that players must read the T&Cs before claiming any offer and be aged 18 or over etc.

I have told my account manager my reasons and concerns, but she says I have to put that info on my website.

But William Hill for example only requires T&Cs to be one click away...........

How can the CMA rules be different between both sites.. well it can't...

Thoughts on this please?

I have asked for clarification on this. Seems stupid. Other operators have said that terms on the landing page is fine as its one click away.

I've also asked for an example of a complaint site.

They are the only company asking for this information. CMA says must be one click away. I am transparent on all my reviews in regards to the T&Cs. And having this type of information can cause more trouble when it becomes out of date. They are basically asking me to break my page to add this lengthy information into the content.

This is the confusing part of these guidelines and how different brands are interpreting them. You only make a quick reference to the welcome offer and promotions but you do link to the t&cs in one click. This should suffice in my eyes and a lot of other programs, could this yet be another program looking to steal your players. the "one strike policy" is pure bolloxs as well. For those that have 100's or 1000's of pages to go through an error could creep in.

I have seen some websites use an image for the t&c's as no one wants to have the same text as every other site as it cannot help with the ranking of a page. I am not sure if you would get away with having the image in a closed tab as it might constitute a click away but might be worth a go.

I have no issue with terms and conditions as they are important but I took the decision to remove the deposit welcome offers as I think they are confusing. Companies frequently change the offers and we don't always receive notice. But placing a snippet of text on a review / info page with no offers will be even more confusing to the customer.

And it will be us affiliates that get into trouble if Ladbrokes change the criteria.. they don't always inform us of changes. Gala for example has 100s of offers and I rarely know which one tracks as I have been told before a link which was on my affiliate account was not for my account...

At the minute my days seem to be spent changing screen shots or removing them completely, adding in even more terms and getting confusing and mixed messages from programs. Sure everyone feels that way?

Yep mixed messages! Some are approving as compliant while others are telling you to change things.
I removed all banners / screenshots / offers but still not good enough for Coral. Soon you will be required to promote a site without any content......

Pretty much - there's no consistency between requests from operators - which suggests to me the messages they're getting are equally confusing.

It does feel like all I've done for the last few months is sort out compliance fixes.. no sooner do you get sorted to please operators then the goalposts shift and you're back to the beginning.

Anyway I love working under pressure so am especially pleased to have just two days to change all the last batch of requests :)

Ladbrokes / Coral asking all their affiliates to put the T&Cs where there is a call to action.

Another scenario where full snippet of T&Cs would make no sense is when a player is looking for sites by a certain operator or with a certain slot game. I have a few pages like this where I only provide a link and a logo. So I assume these operators want you to fill your page with spam looking T&Cs under each call to action visit link even though there is no offer...

I think I may have to start thinking about culling some sites soon.

Ladbrokes / Coral AMs are brain dead. Mine is a moron but hasn't asked for that yet. If you aren't promoting promos then you dont need t&cs obviously. i have also started removing references to welcome bonuses etc. running round like a headless chicken as everyone threatens closure of account on one hand and asking for more exposure on the other. UK affiliate industry is being killed. Only little affiliates earning peanuts will be left.
However your suggestion to cull Ladbrokes / Coral is the best option. When / If GVC (think Foxy Bingo) take over then the current useless affiliate department will get made redundant. that's a good thing, but they'll probably close the program completely anyway - or do a Foxy Bingo to it, which is ultimately same thing.
