It's been a while from my last response to this thread about this. And I tested during a few month NDB and got a result that it's just a waste of time. Almost no profit, only wasting money on promos.
While there are times when some free or no deposit players will go on to become depositing players, MANY more will move on to find more free and no deposit offers at other properties.Quote:

I am coming along again on this thread.
NDB's will bring just people, 99 % of them who do not have the intention to make a deposit, just to "hunt" for free value.
I have to agree with universal4 , it is state of mind - player to come with the idea to deposit, not just only take sth for free and then vanish somewhere else.
I guess it can depend on the market and your business model, but I totally agree with drifter8 and universal here...and it's the reason why I never promote, ask for or target NDB'sQuote:

Does anyone know of a good casino that does no deposit bonuses for Canada? They've pretty much disappeared from the UK market but I have a small amount of NDB Canadian traffic I'd like to send somewhere.
In our experience it is the good way to attract many players, but don't expect that they will bring high NGR even in long-term, to be honest. At the same time you have a chance to catch high-roller players, but mostly it could be 1 for 1000 or less.
NDBs seem to be performing much worse than I though. Wouldn't using them to drive traffic/links to your better sites then be the better option?
it's not about what we think, it's how the market views it - in our case, NDB's are forbidden due to the gambling law in our targeted country.
Definitely never work with groups that deduct bonus cost from your affiliate revenue if you offer no deposit stuff. We have no deposit sites ,one sample 3443 signed up and claimed the free chips and 6 people deposited .A casino on same site with deposit only promos got 1752 registrations and 14 deposits .Some people assume they will get a free chip on our site but the terms are clear you need to deposit to get the free chips. We got lucky on some whales years ago but not recently .We like to push deposit options and if they happen to offer a landing page with both we will always do that. I had a player win $10,000 on a $50 chip and the max cash out was $200 .They were a forum member and they were heartbroken when they realized the terms they agreed to.
Seems like an old thread, but I can share my recent experience with an NDB. One of the brands I am working with had an NDB campaign and I managed to get good positions for several search terms related to that promotions.
For some time I was getting between 5 and 10 regs per day. The offer is no longer valid and it has been almost 3 months since it expired - only around 2% of those players made a deposit and it doesn't look like any of them became long-term depositing players.
While I do advertise a few no deposit bonuses on my sites, I have always been against them for a few reasons mentioned below:
1) As many mentioned above, there is an extremely low conversion rate from freebie hunters.
2) Many casinos deduct all of the costs associated with the bonus from the Affiliate's commission ( royalties etc ) so even if the player plays back the bonus, you are still left out of pocket.
3) It can ruin a casino's reputation if a player doesn't read the terms and conditions and tries to cash out, only to discover they didn't meet the wagering requirements or there was a maximum cashout ( similar to what happened to Judy's client above - the one who won 10K but could only cashout out $200 ) Players will often go to forums and bitch about unfair terms or being duped or whatever - even when the casino is not in the wrong.
4) Casinos land up competing with each other by trying to offer bigger and better bonuses but at the end of the day, it lands up costing them money for little to no return.
5) To answer the OP's question re whether a high roller will take a NDB - as mentioned by previous responses, it is highly unlikely that a High roller is going to bother him or herself with a no deposit bonus which has many conditions attached to it, when they could potentially only win 50 bucks even after meeting all the requirements.
I would be quite happy to see the back of all No Deposit Bonuses and have a level playing field for all casinos....

For NDB, I would think the whale ratio would be 1 in 5-10,000 sign ups. Whales, as a rule, don't give a damn about 10, 20, 30 free dollars as that is less than a single spin/blackjack hand for them.
