Question What do you think about NDBs (No Deposit Bonuses)?

    Hello Guys,

Are the NDBs effective and efficient?

    Do NDBs generate long-term players?

    Do NDBs attract high-roller players?

Please kindly share your thought based on your experiences.

    Thanks alot in advance.

Are the NDBs effective and efficient? Depends what you mean by effective and efficient? A good NDB page can attract a lot of traffic, yes. Will it be well-converting traffic? No. And if the programme you work with deducts the bonus costs from your commission, you would need at least 2 good depositing players for every 100 players that have only come for the freebies (and are actively searching for No Deposit Bonuses).

Do NDBs generate long-term players? It can happen, but it is very rare. I have been in the business for a few years now and have had some decent, long term players through a NDB casino, but only a few. I would say at least 99.5% of my income comes from other types of players.

Do NDBs attract high-roller players? What do you think? Can lightning strike twice on the same person? Yes, it can, but the chances are extremely low. A player that likes to deposit thousands a day, do you think that he/she cares about 20 free spins on Starburst or a 5 euro no deposit bonus?

I would focus on getting the right players and maybe publish a no deposit page for all the scraps. But don't build your business on NDB players. That may have worked 15 years ago, but not any more.

This has been discussed many times on the forums, have a search around and you see a bunch of discussions.

Basically, yes, there are accounts to be had. Most will not deposit or be low value, a small number will be higher value. If you can catch the right players you can make money. Expect 99 ****** players for every decent one though.

If you don’t have the volume it’s just a case of crossing your fingers and hoping for a decent account.

Mixed experience of them myself, as mentioned above you'll get a lot of rubbish in there but occasionally you may get a decent player or two.

10% or so may go on to actually deposit from my experience, although that will vary between products I expect. Have seen over 20% convert to a deposit over time on sportsbook in the past but those offers are few and far between nowadays.

If you have a brand that you're convinced will give a great impression and encourage players to convert, or have a strong follow-up marketing campaign, then worth a go I'd say.

In my opinion a No Deposit bonus is just wasting money and many players try to cheat and sign up 6 million times with different names to get again free money.

I totally agree as the probability of conversions is really low! It may work well on Forex and Binary Options but not on gambling I assume.

Have picked up thousands of players with NDB.

Low FTD rate on those accounts. Not so low that the affiliate partner cancelled the deal, but low.

The ratio of whales in these types of samples is even lower than normal. So if a whale is normally 1 in 1000 accounts, using NDB it may be 1 in 5000.

I wouldn't say no to an operator who offered us a NDB, but we aren't actively trying to pursue any new NDB either.

If done properly and spread far and wide, and exclusive to you from the operator, it could be worth a few grand a month after it has time to build and plateau in earnings IMHO.

I believe that you will get a bit of a mixed bag with no deposit bonuses and it will be more beneficial in the long haul than not. There will of course always be certain people who will try to exploit the system to their own advantages, but you have no control over that and it's a risk that has to be taken. You can always give it a go for a brief amount of time and see if it delivers you any results.

Yeah, probably they are good for traffic and conversion increasing but definitely bad to get any profit.

Luck of the draw I suppose, lots of dross in there but one of my best ever players came from a 25 free spins promo with no deposit.

Myopinion is time is better spent on other things.. too many people focus on worthless traffic and this type of keyword taints your site.

Spent time on other things, NDB players are "pain in the ass". Yes from 10 000 you can get 1 that counts, but does it worth all the efforts, time and money to on-board free spinner, bonus hunter or just a guy who came to play for nothing and do not come back.

I was asked which offer privately. I don't mind sharing though. It is a little $10 free bankroll promo offer for Americas Cardroom that is heavily geo-restricted. Customers love it, but boy are they impatient. Few read the fine print about it taking 3 business days to be deposited and many email wondering where their free money is!

Some even DEMAND we give it to them immediately lol. The entitlement of no deposit bonus hunters is astounding sometimes! But I digress...

To be honest, I think we have this ACR promo code only because WPN took pity on us complaining so many times over the years about lack of commissions on sports book and casino play. Regardless, I am happy to have it, as it sets us apart from other affiliates, but it also is not bringing in the type of money that would lead to retirement either.

I suppose if one had a few deals like this, and they were exclusive to the affiliate (very difficult to pull off), one MIGHT be able grab eek out a 5 figure monthly turnover after a couple years of pumping the site/deals in the SERPS. I know to some affiliates that would be more than enough and my hat is off to them!

Also, for those people who have no deposit bonuses, and are interested in making a few dollars, there is a thread here that you may have missed: https://www.gpwa.org/forum/wtb-links...eo-256677.html
