SuperiorPoker.com resumes U.S. play

15 December 2006

Internet poker room SuperiorPoker.com announced that it has resumed serving American players as of December 1st. U.S. players can once again deposit funds through a variety of methods and can participate in real money games and tournaments.

"We're serious about all players, and we continue to believe that online poker is a skill game and is not affected by the recent legislation passed in the United States," said SuperiorPoker's manager Charles Burton. "We will provide the best and most exciting poker games and tournaments to all players including those who reside in the U.S. We are 100 percent committed to providing a unique and professional poker for many years to come."

Owned and operated by a Netherlands Antilles-based company named Sonsorol, SuperiorPoker is licensed by the Kahnawake Gaming Commission and uses software provided by Action Poker Gaming, which was once owned by Las Vegas From Home.com Entertainment but was sold to new ownership in late November due to Las Vegas From Home.com's concerns about the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act.
