DublinBet reaches deal to redesign site

30 July 2010

GLASGOW, England -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- DublinBet, owned by parent company VueTec, has awarded Manchester-based Code Computerlove with a lucrative six-figure contract for the full website redesign of the DublinBet site. In addition, the digital agency will also be tasked with creating ongoing digital initiatives, including viral and buzz marketing campaigns in line with DublinBet's marketing strategy.

Code Computerlove were selected after a five-way pitch and greatly impressed the team with their vision for the new DublinBet website and their passion and excitement for the brand.

DublinBet.com is an online live casino offering a real gaming experience. It differs from all of its rivals in that customers play online via a direct link to a real brick-and-mortar casino in Dublin, as opposed to a replica environment being broadcast from a studio. All LIVE results are determined from a real game and are not computer generated.

VueTec is an international software company and developer of specialist software called Distance Gaming™ that provides the engine for the live casino experience on DublinBet.

VueTec aims to increase awareness of the DublinBet brand and their Distance Gaming product by developing a stronger presence in existing global markets, and also expanding into untapped markets.

The estimated value of the global online casino market (excluding the US) was $3.2 billion in 2008 and is forecast to grow at around 17% per annum to $6.1 billion by 2012.[1]

In a separate deal, Glasgow digital agency Dog Digital were awarded the PPC and SEO optimisation contract for DublinBet, and will work in tandem with Code Computerlove.

Material Marketing, based in Glasgow, was awarded DublinBet's offline/brand development contract in May 2010.

Deputy CEO, VueTec, Grant Fraser comments: 'Although the current DublinBet website converts significantly better than industry norms, I felt that it has become outdated and does not showcase the benefits of our cutting edge software as well as I would have liked.

Having worked for digital agencies in the past, I realised that we have managed to secure the services of an exceptionally talented, award winning company that I feel fits perfectly with the team that I am pulling together at VueTec. I look forward to working with them and seeing the results'.

Iain Wilcox, Senior Marketing Executive at VueTec and project manager of the DublinBet website redeign comments: 'Code Computerlove fought off stiff competition to be rewarded with the lucrative DublinBet contract, and we are currently in the initial stages of fostering a great relationship between Code Computerlove and Dog Digital. Alongside the PPC and SEO accounts, Dog will also be working on future VueTec digital projects including a new corporate website, and will stay closely involved with us through ongoing consultancy pieces.

"We'll get the very best out of two of Britain's most talented agencies for both DublinBet and our parent company VueTec.'
