William Hill could be hurdle to Ladbrokes interest in Playtech

LONDON, England -- William Hill Online may prove a challenge to any Ladbrokes merger with Playtech, The Daily Telegraph reported.

Playtech own 29pc of William Hill Online and under their agreement William Hill has an option to buy them out "after four and six years on an independent fair value basis", the report quoted.

The stake Playtech owns could become a "blocking stake" in any Ladbrokes merger, the Daily Telegraph noted.
