Chartwell Technology launches four new slots

5 July 2011

CALGARY, Alberta -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Chartwell Technology Inc., a leading provider of games, gaming systems and platform for the regulated online casino gaming industry, announces the release of four exciting slot games in the month of June.

Chartwell's highly-anticipated, signature 20-line slot, Vampires vs Werewolves anchored the game release. This high-payback, Chartwell-built game features blood-tingling feature play. Players will be taken with the atmospheric sound effects and graphics, eerie theme and the industry-first clash scatter reward. When triggered, this unique feature awards credits on any and all standard game symbols which are marked with a cross. The fun doesn't stop there. The innovative team at Chartwell introduced a ground-breaking board-game style bonus round where players can alter their own fate by choosing between the Vampire and the Werewolf.

The enormously popular vampire theme has also been brought to life with its own microsite on Chartwell's website where visitors can discover their preference for vampires or for werewolves while learning more about this incredible slot game. It will also be heavily promoted on Chartwell's new social media sites.

Crocodopolis is a 25-line slot that features the patented "Slide a Wild" feature where players can control their own game volatility and customize the game to their style of play. The colourful characters and Egyptian theme add to the game's excitement.

The blockbuster 25-line 300 Shields offers the "Battle Feature" free spins round with the chance to win a colossal 300x multiplier. This Spartan-themed slot game is action-packed with stunning animation and an epic soundtrack. Early indications show that this game is already a player favourite.

The 50-line slot, Shogun Showdown, has a popular Japanese warrior theme. This game is performing well right out of the gates; possibly attributable to the rich graphics and the fast and simple game play with two rewarding free spin bonuses.

"Chartwell continues to release exciting, high performing casino games. To-date in 2011, Chartwell has released 14 games, its Live Dealer product and our Rapid Game Deployment technology," states Dave Acorn, Chief Operating Officer. "Due to the sheer volume of games we're releasing, we're now deploying games on a set schedule of twice a month.
